Sterling been a monster the way he holds if defenders and brings others into play.

Unlucky not to get a goal.

Didn't watch this game but it always seems Austin does well in goal whenever I check the game feeds. Any of you lot reckon he could have a future with us? Would love an academy product to become our number 1 when Hugo decides to call it a day.

Great win, also nice to see us win a penalty shootout! Dunno how the game finished only 1-1 though.

Get in!! We'll be at home to Porto (who won the group Monaco finished 2nd in) in the quarter finals, after they beat Salzburg 3-1.

One winnable home game away from a trip to the semis/final tournament in Nyon.

Good result with I think Sterling, Austin & Eyoma outstanding. Starting eleven missing Tanganga, Brown, Shashua, Marsh, Duncan & Edwards. Fully fit Marsh, Tanganga, Edwards and Shashoua would have made a big difference. Hope they all play in the next round (they will need to if we want to progress!) against Porto.

I didn't realise that Brandon Austin is Anglo American like Cameron Carter-Vickers. Both have Dad's who were professional basketball players.

I thought Bennetts was head and shoulders above our other out-field players. Monaco seemed more physical and powerful than our lads but I was glad that we always tried to pass from the back instead of booting the ball into row Z.

Bennetts and Eyoma were the stand outs for me. Shasou looked decent in a nice little cameo 15 mins. Have to say was a bit disappointed with our midfield ToB Maghoma and Skipp were all underwhelming. Skipp gave it away a lot and Maghoma looked very sloppy. This might sound an odd comparison but Bennetts reminds me a bit of a young Arnautovic, he’s got that very upright dribbling stance. For me should concentrate on being a winger. Seen him score that exact same goal about 5 times this season.

I know I’ll get horribly shot down for this. And this opinion isn’t just based on today. Probably seen Skipp play 5-10 times and can only remember 1 game I was really impressed think It was Dortmund or Real Madrid this year. I know he is very highly regarded but I’m struggling to see it. For sure there’s lots of endeavour. But I feel he’s going end up a bit of a Mark noble type player. Hopefully be a bit more Scott Parker but that’s how I see him. Obviously he’s only 17 but I’m really not seeing the hype right now. Loooking forward to being proved wrong though.

And if we get through to semis...if all goes to form we will probably play.....who else but Chelsea!!
