If we could get Rose back from the last few years I'd probably agree. But he just gives the impression hes stopped giving much of a shit.

You've just said Wanyama is coming back from an injury induced absence... Perhaps thats the REAL problem with Rose too.

You can’t blame fans for jumping to conclusions when it comes to Rose. He was loved and trusted here, and he choose to sabotage that. He’s made his own bed. He has to lie in it.

My take is the club pay him in excess of £200 000.00 per month. He wears the shirt and plays for the team. He has the manager's support. He apologized for the comments and it was accepted by the club hierarchy. If all those parties are happy then perhaps we the fans need to trust the club management and do likewise.

When assessing a similar situation on two players who were injured we should not make an allowance for one player and then completely ignore that set of circumstances for the other.

If we are in for Diawara, or an equivalent youth Wanyama/Dier competitor prospect, I'd like us to send Skipp out on loan somewhere he will get first team minutes and can come back and compete equally.

On what I saw today Skipp is a million miles away. Personally I think he is a tad overrated. Not just basing that on today but whenever I’ve seen him I’ve been somewhat underwhelmed. Putting my tin hat on now.

Why is that so many of you want Sessegnon as a Rose replacement? You do realise he is about as much of a left back as Bale is these days?

I like the idea of Diawara but I'm not sure what that means for Dier, we don't really need three DM's so maybe Dier will be more a CD next season. Diawara as good as he is in possession is not a B2B and should not be considered as one. We would still need to get someone like Kovacic to rotate with Dembele.
He's more of a Wanymama Winks hybrid than a pure DM imo. Intelligence is one of his strengths for his age.

We don't need anyone fancy in midfield. Just someone with a good engine, composed under pressure keeping things ticking along with neat sharp passes hopefully bringing Dele and Eriksen into play.

Dier for me should be seen as a CB.

You're not wrong. Why would Bale more than halve his wage to come here?

I get the why, but there is too much talk about the wage following. If Bale leaves he most likely won't be getting that money unless he goes to United. He is old, injury prone and I just don't see that happening. That's my opinion though.

I struggle to see the connection between being injured and being interested. Which is the comment I made.

Quite easily a fit player could not be interested and like wise a player coming from an injury could not be interested. Which is how I see Rose.

Plus Real are rumoured to want circa £80m for him... for that sort of money we could get Sessegnon and Diawara or Malcom. I’d much rather snap up all 3 and have a much stronger squad than spend £80m + eye watering wages on perma crock Bale.

He's 17. Underrated/Overrated is a mute point right now. I'm not saying he should waltz in. I'm saying give him chances to grow at 19/20 and have a resume to compete or if he doesn't sell him off.

Not sure where he will play or how reliable the source is, but there is an interesting note re: Sessegnon. Think he would be great addition.

" Spurs have already agreed a deal to sign Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon in the summer.

That's the verdict of Bristol Post columnist Leroy Rosenior who has been speaking on the latest episode of the Totally Football Show. etc . . . "

Leroy Rosenior played for Fulham on a couple of occasions.

1) he’s ex Fulham
2) we’ve previously had ITK that we may have a deal in place for him but then again we’ve had ITK that Fulham don’t need the money and are in no rush to sell

Personally, if Fulham don’t get promoted then I can see us signing him.

He wouldn’t have to be a direct Rose replacement either. We were at our best defensively last season when we had consistency, whether it be Walker and Rose or Trippier and Davies. Next season Davies can make left back his own, with KW-Peters able to offer cover. Sessegnon can also play left back if needed.

Liam Rosenior his son also played 80 games for Fulham. So guessing family has strong connection with the club.

Diawara is like busquets in what he does. Great passer but very astute tackler and has great positioning. Good on the ball too.

Excellent on the ball, a lot of it is clever feints and body positioning with him. At 20, Poch could mold him into one of the best in the world. I only hope his potential signing will not mean Onomah will leave the club.
