Jake Whitehall? He’s doing a decent job and that’s a good joke to slip in as an Arsenal fan.
If I was Kane I would have said. Cheers Jack. You must be pleased the brits is on a Wednesday night. So you don’t miss your team play tomorrow. ****

Dont think its very wise to have public banter with a comedian. You will only end up second best

On the contrary. It would’ve shut Whitehall up straight away - he wouldn’t have had time for a comeback because Kane would’ve just got on with presenting the award. My preference would’ve been ‘why aren’t you watching Arsenal in the champ.... ahhhh sorry’ type thing. Whitehall would’ve appreciated the comeback. At worst mumbled something back about Madrid.

I actually don’t mind him sometimes. The joke he made was fine, if it had been a Spurs fan hosting and they’d introduced Wilshere by saying ‘Apologies we couldn’t get a ramp so he’s had to be carried on to the stage’ or something slightly more PC, then (most) Spurs fans would've loved it. I just wish Kane had expected it so he had a line prepared when he came on.

I still don’t know how I feel about Kane being so popular that he goes to stuff like this. He actually presents himself very well but I always fear he’s one stupid answer/clanger away from a lifelong meme.

Some of our fans shouldn't be allowed an opinion

Completely agree.

I had some fucking moron on Twitter the other day tell me that Lloris is a complete liability, our worst player other than Sissoko, and that he costs us far too many points.

The worst thing? This guy actually regularly goes to games! You would think that he would have an educated opinion. But nope.

there arent many more satisfying feelings then watching kane score a late winner during one of spurs' lethargic performances. love the lad to bits.
