Ah... If you weren't a teenager or 20something in the 90s you might not have watched it. Was huge at the time.

I was born in the late 80s I'm afraid so was probably tucked up in bed in my Space Jam pajamas by the time it came on every night :D

Re Lennie James, I may have dreamed this but I've a memory of watching some TV series (some thriller/conspiracy/cover-up thing) about ten years ago in which a black Briton was on death row - or maybe in a maximum security prison - in the US and he mentioned that he "missed watching Spurs", or words to that effect.

HAVE I actually dreamed it?

Darren Shan, who writes hugely successful horror stories for children, is a massive Spurs fan. (In case this wasn't already mentioned.)

In other news...

Turner Sports will hire Nash, a two-time MVP of the NBA, to be a studio analyst for the company's coverage of the UEFA Champions League, according to the New York Post. Once the Champions League TV rights switch from Fox to Turner next season, the games will be broadcast across TNT, TBS, TruTV and a to-be named streaming service.

Nash, 44, isn't anything close to a soccer novice—he's an investor in MLS's Vancouver Whitecaps and Spanish side Mallorca, and both his father and brother played the game professionally. It is not clear whether Nash will retain his current roles as general manager of the Canada men's national team and as an advisor for the Golden State Warriors.

Cheers. So I may have lost track of this thread, but essentially Rick Grimes is a yido?
'Rick Grimes' is a very good friend (back to school days) of the Exeter City boss (the second longest serving manager after Wenger) and is sometimes seen at their games. Who he supports I'm not certain, but my brother says he also pops into our local Spar shop (the only shop in the village) sometimes, so one day I may get to find out!

Strange but true, and almost on topic....
