It wasn't really tat we'd left it too late - Chelsea just had an absolutely storming season.
Yeah, definitely a bit of both for me. By the time we went on that winning run the most we could have got to is 89 points. That's normally enough to win the title, but it would have meant the best run of form in PL history. Realistically by then getting to 84 points would have meant an insanely good run-in, but that generally isn't enough even in a normal year without Chelsea being rampant. To have a decent chance we'd have really needed to be ~5 points better off earlier in the season.

I had us finish fourth on 74 points. Liverpool and Man U have easier run ins in my opinion. In contrast Chelsea have a harder run in and seen the most likely of the three to drop points. So I think fourth is ours if we want it enough.

Fucking hate west ham. Why can't they just get relegated like they're supposed to?

Morning...

Looking at that table, we're going along rather nicely. Keep that form up, second is ours IMO.

Did just fine against the big clubs of late to keep the run going, we've just got to learn to get past some of the supposed 'lesser' teams that we seem to struggle with at times.
