I love him but that is some very dodgy reffing from Nige.
I could’ve complained a lot about our kiwi ref today but sometimes you’ve got to hold your hands up and say you’ve been out classed.
England to win by 3.
Thing is, reffed correctly, Jocks would still probably have won but it would currently be 25-20 at best for them. Thought Owens was better than this to be honest
He didn't give England every decision. What was your main problem with him today?
Owens was worse in the France-Ireland game. He really wasn't bad today.
TBH I prefer that to the officials who give a penalty the split second you lose your balance when competing for the ball or don't give you any time to roll away. As long as he's consistent on both sides, and I thought he was today, then I don't see how people can complain. There's always going to be one or two decisions that'll go against you. He gave England the benefit of the doubt a couple of times in the second half in other decisions.I don't like how, for both teams whoever play, he lets a load of messing around happen at the breakdown. It can be someone trying a legal steal with the ball carrier clinging on and he lets it go on for several seconds (usually the team in possession eventually clear him out by that point and so the defensive team don't get the turnover), or it could be illegal where tackler is off his feet all over the ball and again he lets it go on for seconds slowing down the ball before eventually he calls 'lost now' or it does find it's way out. I find that annoying in general, it leads to a scrappier game.
The one time he was stickler for the rules and ultra generous was the intercept, so I can see why that one would annoy some people. However that is no excuse, we were shite, and probably still lose, even if that would have got us back in it.

Scotland were just way better at the breakdown today and committed more men than England and got their just rewards.
