He's getting an absolute kicking at the moment.

The Villa fans want shot of him. Worst thing is they went on to win after he was hooked in the 60th.

Just got to hope the adversity makes him want to make it even more to prove a few people wrong.
TBF Villa was always a shit loan and Villa is a shit club to be at the moment for a few players.

Look at the players who are doing well and they are the typical stereotype english players

Villa have assembled a team full of other teams best players and yet they have joined villa and lowered their stock. Someone like Lansbury was Forest's best player and looks terrible in Bruce's system

Poch apparently said in the past he doesnt want his players to learn bad habits from a loan and yet we deem Villa a good place to send Onomah. I dont get it.

At least Norwich was a decent loan in terms of playing style for Edwards

Wasn’t there reports that him and Hinds would leave at the end of the season? I hope things has changed since then

yeah, here -http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/the-spurs-youth-thread-2017-2018.129353/page-233#post-5732415

Doesn't make sense that we continue to play him. That has not been Poch's style in the past.

not sure how much input poch has in this matter but agree it's strange that griffiths(and hinds if the above is to believed) play every game if they're going to be released soon. i don't agree with clubs just dropping a player entirely and making them sit out for ages as i still believe they have a duty to aid their development but would have thought they'd start to prioritise others who are actually staying.

griffiths is bigger and more physical, a hustle and bustle type striker. sterling is smaller but works a bit harder off the ball in terms of closing down and running channels, he's quicker and likes to hang off the shoulder of defenders. griffiths holds the ball up better - though i thought sterling had his best game in this regard the other day against monaco. i think both are a bit rough technically, i haven't seen loads of griffiths this season though so maybe he's improving but he's always looked a bit unnatural with the ball to me and he has a strange upright running style, he looks like he shouldn't be that good but clearly he's very effective and has that instinct of being in the right place.

if a first team space was to open up for either(there won't be but anyway ..) i'd still go with sterling for now, let's see what griffiths has at u23 level first - if he's still with us by then.

I thought Sterling's hold up play was pretty poor against Monaco, one of the reasons we struggled to create anything for most of the game. He worked hard, but his actual hold and link play was pretty inept.

Completely disagree with this. His hold up and link play was excellent. It was the poor performance from maghoma and ToB that made our attacking play inept.

Everything good came from either Sterling or Bennett’s

I don't think TOB was great, Maghoma OK/meh, but I really didn't think Sterling's general play was great either. And if I'm honest, the goal aside, I don't think Bennetts contributed too much of actual creative substance either, he went on a couple of jinky runs, promised something, but didn't deliver a whole lot.

I think it's amazing how bereft of ingenuity the look without someone like Edwards, or even Shashoua out there. Lots of huffing and puffing, but very little creative spark or moments of clarity.

I the quality throughout the game by both wasn’t great although the pitch is awful down there.

Don’t think that Lilly White Rose is that well connected think just an ardent fan account. Might be wrong.
