He'd have to be some player to come from the Academy straight into the first team squad. Maybe in a few years.

.
Janssen and Llorente aren't special players. I'd rather give the lad a chance than waste another 32 million.

Player that young needs game time to improve and learn, it would be unfair to just play him as s back up to Kane
Anyone we buy is going to be back up to Kane anyway. I agree he needs minutes we can give him a chance in games where we can't break teams down or when we are dominating a match, as well as cup games. If this kid wasn't English and from our academy, people would be saying sign him up.

Llorente isn't a bad player his actually a good target man just needs a goal. He gets into great positions but obviously needs pace around him....and those goals

Of course they would, but we need to be finding players that can play as a back up. Someone like Hernandez at West Ham who’s made a career of it.

Players like that need to play week in week out otherside they just don’t perform in the same way.

I already said elsewhere that I think Son could do the back up job but how will we feel if let this kid go and he becomes a big success? We nearly did that with Kane.

Llorente couldn’t even put away simple chances against poor, low league opposition. What is the point in this guy?! Whatever he once had has left him, time to cut losses with him.

I wouldn't say it's permanently left him but it is obvious he needs to play every week to get it back and keep it. That won't happen here so he needs to move on for his own sake.
