Lovely little through ball by Pritchard today. Set up the winning goal.
Considering the lack of his type in England, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he played his way into an England squad.

We havent at u23 but u18's we have iirc and tbh we did it with stewartPer Hinds and Griffiths: We've offered pro-terms to far worse players than those two so if its true, and its a big if, then there must be something more going on because they're certainly deserving of professional contracts on performances alone. if they've refused to sign pro contracts then that's a different matter and they won't as much be released as free to negotiate with other clubs (with compensation complicating a domestic move). IF they were going down the free agent route then I find it very difficult to believe that the club would just blithely carry on playing them for the U18s and U23s. Its just not our style. We've not done that before.
I'm inclined to believe that someone has got their wires crossed and that both will be here next season.

Not too dissimilar to early descriptions of Kane...(not necessarily style, just that Kane never looked the part, until he started scoring goals...)
I think Kane started to look the part a few months after training under Poch and his coaches.
Arsenal have been in the europa league so it's a bit harsh to compare our records when they've basically had a reserve competition to play in
Ampadu and musonda didn't come through chelseas academy, unless you were going to include foyth aswell as a just a young player getting games
McTominay is clearly just a pawn in Mourinhos battle with pogba and is being thrown into games he's clearly not ready for. I suppose it's still integrating a youth player but it's not for the right reasons and that taints it a bit for me.
Klopp has done well with TAA though tbf
Stewart was released at 20 not 18, he'd been part of the U23's for 2 years when we cut out losses. We're talking about dispensing with Hinds & Griffiths at 18 after completing their scholarships. I can think of a few lads we've given a couple of games to towards the end of their second year knowing they were getting released but that's a very different situation because it was our decision and they weren't good enough and we were probably letting scouts have a look at them. Griffiths and Hinds are stand outs at U18 level and are simply a different kettle of fish to every else I can think of.
They (two people run the account) do have some connections.
Think you've met one of them? Perhaps not, I forget who has met who!Didn't know there were 2 people behind it
if aurier continues his poor form i would be annoyed if kwp doesn't get the chance
Remember Kane was looking good under AVB and then started the last 6 games of the season under Sherwood and bagged 3 goals. He then started the 14/15 season on fire, I don't know how much of Pochettino's coaching would have affected Kane in 2/3 months
I love how when other clubs bring through players, there are special circumstances or reasons given but when we do, it is through great planning.
I'm sure other clubs sit there and go Winks has only been given chances due to Wanyama and Dembele being injured, and the only reason Kane(our best player) was given a chance was due to the EL. Whereas they managed to bring through Iwobi and Bellerin despite not having EL football to give them chances. So It think it is fair to compare our records

Ex-Youth Update: Former youth player Harold Kane scored today.
Also Bellerin came through Barca's academy unless you are going to praise us for bringing through dele and Foyth?
Bellerin never made an appearance for Barcelona; Bentaleb would be a fairer comparison perhaps.

The original post was about this season so that's what I was replying to, there's no point making it about recent seasons because that's not what a was talking about. Also Bellerin came through Barca's academy unless you are going to praise us for bringing through dele and Foyth?
I wasn't defending our youth policy this season, just saying was that I don't think any team deserves any real credit for youth academy intergration this season except for Klopp with TAA. If you can refute any of the points then be my guest but don't just misquote what I said to fit in with your opinion.
