That's the way the old Fergie United side used to win.

Just kept going and going and going and plugging away until teams lost concentration for the vital moment and they got a winner. Used to do it every week and there's nothing lucky about it. It's about becoming a winning machine.

Imagine the uproar if Trips put in that performance

kinder I imagine. or are you New?

Aurier isn't exactly loved on this forum. He's a couple more poor games away from being a sissoko figure around here with countless boring threads and comments

Deserved win.credit to the lads for really going for it last 10 mins. Son made a different when he came on. How aurier never got subbed is behond me.so much space all game.his crossing was shit.just hits it at the first man every time.towards the end i laughed as kane changed his mind about dropping the ball on the touchline to let aurier take the throw and took it himself.

Ground out a result, which we deserved.

Wasteful in the final third, making chances again.

At some point it'll click and some poor team is going to be on the end of a fair hiding.

COYS!

Told you all last week Serge Aurier is shit and a accident waiting to happen

He was never any good and never will be

His a way for small Daniel to make a 25m profit swapping right backs

LOL at those who were creaming over this signing

Yeah HAHAHA at people who were optimistic and supportive of a signing made my the football club they love. I bet you knocked one off when he missed the sitter. Shit fan.

Getting a bit sick of coming in here and seeing certain players getting completely hammered.

Regarding Serge, he clearly isn't completely confident yet. Somebody who has worked with him told me that after the juventus game. I bet he's a much better player after a Poch preseason and run of games
It's his first season and is not an auto-starter. He is still getting used to the PL and needs to be given the benefit of the doubt.

Plus, a lot of fans should take a long hard look at themselves (like those who constantly go after Sissoko). While a player wears the shirt he should be supported in my opinion.

Well the only way the backlash could've been bigger against aurier in this thread would be if people were hatching a plan to go to his house and assassinate him so I'm not sure what you're implying?

I can't believe Son only got 10 minutes... It's worrying that Poch sees the game this way. Son has been great all season, his direct play would've caused big problems for Palace

Watch the goal again and see the amazing foul by dele on the line. Such presence of mind to nudge the guy trying to head the ball away. Probably wouldn't have got it but its one of the best fouls I've ever seen

As always, some on here are far too quick to slate the team.

You know what, top teams don’t play well every single game. Yet we genuinely should’ve won that by 5 if it wasn’t for 3 unbelievable misses and a pen that never was. Individually there were a lot of poorer than normal performances but we completely dominated for 90 minutes and won.

Why do some hate so much? Man City lost to Wigan last week, Chelsea lost to Bournemouth and Watford recently Man U to Newcastle etc. All top teams have poor games. Yet we’re unbeaten in 15 and still some on here are aggressively hating. It’s like they don’t learn from weeks, months and years gone by that if you really slate the team, the manager, the tactics etc when the game isn’t over, then you’re open to looking like a bit of a plum come 90 minutes.

Said this just before kick-off:

I'd snap your hand off for a terrible performance and 0-1 win.

As such, I'm pretty elated with this result. Huge 2 points. Fergie's United had so many poor performances like this in their great title-winning seasons, but dug out the wins. Fergie Time etc. Nothing at all to panic about that we were so poor today. They did well to stick in and nab their just deserts in the end.
