1st half - The Spurs I hate turned up, unconvincing with sloppy passes and poor control playing without any passion and zip, compounded by weak refereeing

2nd half - Shittier, only redeemed by last ten minutes

MOTM - Was tempted to give Aurier for the comic relief he offered (although he magnificently blocked their only real chance for goal) but will give it to Sanchez who stood up to be counted in the absence of both Toby and especially Verts

Lloris 7 nothing to do

Aurier 5.5 Poor miss, foul throws and strolling back at times when were hit on the counter. That tackle though...
Sanchez 8 Solid, never troubled
Dier 8 MOTM Never troubled. I give him a lot of stick at CM but excellent with and without the ball today
Davies 6 Did play a good cross for Aurier miss, but not his best game

Dembele 6 Struggled to dominate
Wanyama 6 okay game

Alli 7 Should have got a pen
Eriksen 7 heavily involved
Lamela 6 Average performance, good to freshen things up subbing him

Kane 7 missed a few but got the winner

Subs
Moura lively, tried to make things happen
Son too little time but still won the corner for the goal

Lamela was easily our motm. He think he looked really classy today.
Lucas also looked promising. Admittedly the ball bounced off him occasionally, but considering its his first taste of the prem, in a pretty frenetic match, and without playing much this year , i thought he looked alright. Looking forward to seeing him progress.
Aurier...i was so excited to get this guy and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, especially considering Poch's FB usually look far better in their second seasons after getting to grips with their roles, but my god. Shocking. That miss...

MOTM - Delaney. We don't seem to get 3 points until Tomkins is off. The goalkeeper should save it. But Delaney is responsible for not properly marking Kane for that header. Disaster for palace.

Davies - Our MOTM. Very reliable. I remember a member of SC said that he is excellent when he is the 1st choice LB but not as a backup

Sanchez - He could be quite nervous when he clears the balls. But this is could be improved.

Dier - The most consistent player. I mean, he tries to make a suicide pass every match constantly. Otherwise, very good match

Aurier - Maybe he should learn how to properly throw a ball rather than practising UNO (well, he seems to be a good UNO player). Two foul throw-ins in the level of PL is ridiculous. He should score, but to be fair his role is not to score. But a wing-back cannot throw a ball properly is a joke.

Wanyama - almost back to his best

Dele - I think he is quite good today. But I understand why fans of other teams hate him. His diving habits are too annoying. I mean, many player dive. But Dele seems to dive everytime, and keep diving in wrong timings

Eriksen - Credit to palace. I think their 3dms is a tactics against eriksen, and it works. Looks lively when he moves to cm with more spaces

Kane - This is how you define a world class player. Get a goal even if you have a shite match. Luckily he is one of our own. Otherwise, I expected Levy would be struggled to offer the contract he deserved. Don't leave, please.

Lucas - You can see why Poch doesn't want to rush him. Talented player, willing to pass/drift forward, but not linked with his new team mates currently

Townsend - Typical Townsend. Busy running, no end product. And should pass the ball when his team mates have more rooms. Instead, he tries to shoot in a wrong position.
Oh.... well he is not playing for us now. But he is almost the same Townsend that left us.

Hugo 6- nothing to do really

Davies 6-
defensively fine. Poor attacking bar one shot

Sanchez 7-
very good, and just smashed the ball out when he wasn't sure which was good to see instead of taking risks

Dier -6
bit ropey, nearly another beautiful assist for other team but got better

Aurier -3
fine defensively with a very good goal saving tackle. But comical in attack and not sure what was with the foul throws today . Odd stuff

Wanyama-5
Meh, fell over alot is all I recall

Dembele -6
Ok but slowed play down. Some good passing

Eriksen -5
Poor, assist saves him from lower

Lamela 6
Decent, not great but probably our best attacker today imo

Alli-5
Should've had a pen, but also a bit of a dive later. Other than that kinda meh too

Kane -6
Got the winner but was poor

Lucas -5
Didn't do anything , barely remember him

Son -5
As above
