Credit to the palace fans... when Aurier kept foul throwing the ball they gave him a cheer when he finally didn't mess up. Made me giggle.

kinder I imagine. or are you New?

Aurier isn't exactly loved on this forum. He's a couple more poor games away from being a sissoko figure around here with countless boring threads and comments

That was kinda harsh. Sissoko is caricature of everything that goes wrong in a game. He's the greatest scapegoat of scapegoats.

That's the way the old Fergie United side used to win.

Just kept going and going and going and plugging away until teams lost concentration for the vital moment and they got a winner. Used to do it every week and there's nothing lucky about it. It's about becoming a winning machine.

Fergie would've benched Aurier at half time as well

Kane missed a couple of sitters that he'd normally score in his sleep. I don't see the entire board jumping down his throat though.

Aurier will be fine. The miss was atrocious and his crossing abysmal today. But the talent is there. Poch will mold him into a world class RB given time.

Which is why the absolute bollocks "lucky to win" narrative needs to fuck off. We missed several sitters and gave them nothing - in my book that is a deserved win but because we didn't hand out the beating that some had decided we were going to, there's a huge amount of whinging going on.
Usual suspects mate. Not happy unless they’re slagging half the team off.

Dier was good start to finish. Excellent in fact. Composed and professional.

Apart from when he passed to their guy in the first half under no pressure?

I like Dier as a CB but he wasn’t exactly under much pressure today, but apart from that error he was good. But it was a very bad error.

Thought the goal wasn't gonna come, Harry & Eriksen not at their best but still combined to get the win.

Team seemed to struggle to get going but always difficult against a team showing as little attacking ambition as palace. After doing so well in our tough run was vital to just get the win today

Watch the goal again and see the amazing foul by dele on the line. Such presence of mind to nudge the guy trying to head the ball away. Probably wouldn't have got it but its one of the best fouls I've ever seen
Also, If the keeper leaves it the defender probably clears the header.

Think we have seen this past week or two that medical marijuana can help with fits or seizures like this.

Getting a bit sick of coming in here and seeing certain players getting completely hammered.

Regarding Serge, he clearly isn't completely confident yet. Somebody who has worked with him told me that after the juventus game. I bet he's a much better player after a Poch preseason and run of games

It’s a football forum and he had the worst game of his career, he’s going to get some stick. The foul throw thing was embarrassing.

A hungover team display. This is what happens when Aurier says, "Hey guys, come round to my place the night before the Palace game. We can do some tequila slammers and practise throw-ins."

Claiming an assist...

My dear Mrs has been a talisman lately ... I stopped her leaving the room when I been watching matches in the big telly as other teams have been scoring while she is out of the room.

Today the old girl was laid up in bed with a bad back but she came down for a waz just as Aurier missed the open goal.

She had the waz but I asked her to sit out the last few minutes ..... Result !!!!!!

Across the board all of our footballers were pretty shit today. And so was Aurier.

But despite that we still deserved to win the match quite comfortably, which bodes well
