As always, some on here are far too quick to slate the team.

You know what, top teams don’t play well every single game. Yet we genuinely should’ve won that by 5 if it wasn’t for 3 unbelievable misses and a pen that never was. Individually there were a lot of poorer than normal performances but we completely dominated for 90 minutes and won.

Why do some hate so much? Man City lost to Wigan last week, Chelsea lost to Bournemouth and Watford recently Man U to Newcastle etc. All top teams have poor games. Yet we’re unbeaten in 15 and still some on here are aggressively hating. It’s like they don’t learn from weeks, months and years gone by that if you really slate the team, the manager, the tactics etc when the game isn’t over, then you’re open to looking like a bit of a plum come 90 minutes.

This 100%.

There’s a ridiculous mindset with some on this forum that if we play anyone from 6th down we get “these are the games we have to be winning if we want to do well”. Yet, if we play anyone in the top six we get “we have to beat the teams in the top 6 if we want to do well”... so essentially we should be winning every single game apparently.

No team, even Man City, can be absolutely brilliant for 38 games. It just doesn’t happen. Surely if any team could be steam rolling all in front of them it would be Barcelona and yet they have frustrating draws sometimes too.

It’s the results like Chelsea/Watford, Bournemouth/Arsenal and countless others that go to show it happens to every team all season long.

15 games unbeaten, and we’ve beaten the likes of United, Arsenal and Liverpool. You have to take a win like today sometimes, a win is a win, we should have scored four or five. In the end the result counts.

Some on here will just never be happy until we become some sort of Harlem globetrotters style team that win every game 10-0. Think you may be waiting a while.

Shite performance but this is exactly the way how Fergie won tons of trophies with yanited. Balanced team, game control and grinding till the end. Games can only end with either 4-0, 1-0 or 0-0 which on long term is a success.

Or, with other words.. to be able to win when not having a best day makes the difference. Big teams mentality.

Was having that exact same discussion with my old man - reminds me a lot of a united side under fergie. Palace weren't great, but they worked hard, we didn't have the luck, but we stuck at it and took the sloppy points.

Wasn't pretty but the points are in the bag, that's what matters.

Awful game... The type only to common in the premiership these days. One team trying to steamroll the other, the other defending in droves. We tried everything but when we weren't thwarted by a packed defence, we were finishing like Jason Lee in a blindfold.

Thank whatever deity you choose for Harry Kane, as ever.

Did your confidence really last until the 88 minute? If so then kudos to you because we did not look like scoring ...until we did.

How did we not look like scoring ahahah? I don't get it.

We missed an open goal, Hennessy made a great save from Davies, Kane pulled a few good openings wide and we should've had a pen. We dominated the second half and deserved the win

Told you all last week Serge Aurier is shit and a accident waiting to happen

He was never any good and never will be

His a way for small Daniel to make a 25m profit swapping right backs

LOL at those who were creaming over this signing
Don’t have to look to see who gave you the dislike

When he was all over i found he was occupying space thst should have been covered by Davies.
yeah, a couple of times but one time he was caught in no man's land between Davies and Sanchez, where he was easily taken out of the game with a straight pass. and nearly led to a goal, he was nether close to Davies or Sanchez and was much higher up than the latter.

Better than he has done at LCB in the past though...

A hungover team display. This is what happens when Aurier says, "Hey guys, come round to my place the night before the Palace game. We can do some tequila slammers and practise throw-ins."

They've been playing too much uno, time to ban any kind of enjoyment imo

!!!!!!! You aught to feel ashamed at that comment

Its just recently he has been missing a lot of easy chances before scoring. Andy Cole was a very good player, scored a lot of goals, won leagues and even a champions league. I dont think its an insulting comparison.

It's his first season and is not an auto-starter. He is still getting used to the PL and needs to be given the benefit of the doubt.

Plus, a lot of fans should take a long hard look at themselves (like those who constantly go after Sissoko). While a player wears the shirt he should be supported in my opinion.

I fully agree that we should support any player who puts on the shirt.. But at one point i almost smashed my tv because of Aurier. He was poor and that is being kind. I wont write him off but he has work to do to get to the required level. Eriksen had to cover his area and numerous occasions he just jogged back.

I dont think KWP would have done any worse than Serge to day. He was easily the weakest players on both sides of the pitch.

Haha, tough crowd! Love you guys. Cracking win but we desperately need to get our intensity up again in these sorts of games. Anyway, where's the bar?

The old "my opinion was really stupid and people reacted negatively so I'll play it off as a joke that people just didn't understand"

Almost as old as the dawn of time. Respect.
