Oh fuckoff, I spat out my tea :p

It's not rocket science though, to understand those two bad boys (magnesium and calcium) are crucial to muscle function (especially full muscle relaxation, preserving length, nerve function, energy transmission), if you start to get insufficiency the muscles may start to pull the skeletal frame out of shape, or, start to damage the tendons et cetera (especially if reserves are very low for magnesium).

If you have a poor diet, very basically, the lymph fluids are much more prone to becoming overly acidic, then the flow slows as the pH drops. In elite athletes this is a crucial factor, as if the lymph slows, so does recovery full stop.

Anyway, I know it's boring repetitive stuff to most, hence my lessening of highlighting stuff like this.

Hope that is Matcha Green Tea... :)

50 million euros + 10 mil euro bonuses for Malcom to Bayern Munich. Bild reports.

I think this was always going to happen. I firmly believe we've prioritized Sessegnon as our main target this summer and I don't see us spending 100 mill on both Ryan and Malcom.

We have been linked to that David Brooks from Sheffield United, circa 10m. Looks young and very promising, much like the link to Maddison from Norwich.

Any of the youth watchers out there know much about David Brooks??

Left footed CAM, not a typical English talent. Won MVP for England this past year Toulon tourniment before switching his eligiance over to Wales.

Was following him as close as possible while CCV was up there on loan. He's very mercucial, got a bit of Dele in him as he loves to do a trick. Often comes off the bench though so it's hard to get a really got grip on his playing style.

Love to snap him up, but I doubt he'd be ready compete for a squad place by next year

We were told both Moura and Malcom were possible but the return to form of Lamela and the likely signing of Sessegnon has probably put an end to our interest in Malcom.

Let’s face it, he’s talented but €50 + €10m in bonuses for someone who’s done well but not tore up any trees in his 1st season in Europe is daylight robbery. We need to be careful when pursuing players from smaller clubs as we always say if they’re this good for a smaller club they’ll be amazing for a bigger team... it rarely works out that way. Look at Bony, Sigurdsson, Burke, James Rodrigues, Bent, Dozzell!, Renato Sanches, Bebe, Janssen, all players who’ve failed to live up to expectations once they’ve stepped up a level.

Agree and more importantly we will not spend 100m on just two players it just won't happen.
Sessengon is a more realistic target and one that I could see come in I think all we need is 3/4 in comings of quality to push on next year.

I'm sure dortmund have a dietician on staff.
Mate at mine was head chef at spurs. When they played away he would call the hotel they would be staying at to ensure the menu would meet the squads requirements.

So who does Ryan Sessegnon, future star of England, idolise?

“Luke Shaw,” he says.

That seems young. Does he really mean Luke Shaw?

“Yeah! When I was younger I had two players: Luke Shaw and Gareth Bale. When Shaw was at Southampton he was a left-back and I loved watching him bomb up and down the wing, create goals, score goals, so I think I try to emulate that. Gareth Bale same thing really.”

So, two connection to Spurs - one via Poch, one via player.

James Rodriguez looks way out of place in that list. He was the odd man out at Madrid mainly because of their system and style of play, but now he's on loan at Bayern and playing in the #10 role of a 4-2-3-1, becoming a key part of their team

The rest I don't disagree with.

Mostly agree, and partly disagree. Definitely agree regarding more composed quality and thinking in attack with higher calibre players, this is the difference you see when you watch those better teams in the Champions League for instance or Man City for that matter. Son's sometimes erratic nature with Dele's lack of care with the ball for example can see moves cheaply fall apart. I certainly wouldn't be sacrificing Lamela or Son though, although I'm not sure specifically how you mean. For the starting 11? To actually sell on? They can certainly be upgraded on, I just may not agree with what you possibly mean when you say sacrifice.

I meant burn them on an altar whilst we all march around it naked in a circle smeared with rabbit's blood, chanting dis eese fuball.

Nightime diet. Unfortunately many people are sugar slaves, if he is on the sly, that will seriously deplete his calcium and lead to the sort of injury list he has (especially as there are multiple infections).

Just speculation.

If we are getting Sess to be a WF and see him as an alternative to Malcom I would be surprised. I like the look of Sess a lot but he's not a WF, Malcom and Sess are worlds apart if purely looking at them as attacking players. I just don't think Sess has the ability technically to be a viable attacking option for us. Saying that, I haven't seen loads of him so maybe I'm wrong. But his skill set looks a lot better suited to a WB then an out and out attacking player. If we are looking for a WF I would choose Malcom every day of the week and twice on Sundays if it was just between the two.

Sess and better back up striker for llorente then keep the main players and bobs ur uncle.
mate I think you are very close to being spot on here. I was thinking about Poch's comment today that he looks at a group of 25 including a few young players.
Taking the existing squad (switching Pau for the departing Vorm) and adding Sess:

23 players come from:
ST:Kane, Fernando (2)
Attacking Midfield behind ST: Son, Alli, Eriksen, Lamela, Moura, SESS (6)
CM: Dembele, Dier, Wanyama, Winks (4)
LB: Rose, Davies (2)
CB: Verts, Toby, Sanchez, Foyth (4)
RB: Trippier, Aurier (2)
GK: Hugo, Gazza, PAU (3)

Add in KWP and one of Onomah/ TOB/ Skipp/ Edwards and you get to 25.

This is what, in the best possible way, has puzzled me about the massively appreciated ITK from @Hercules and @Trix.
While I love the ambition being discussed, I am really confused as to how we can bring in top talent without losing some of our existing top talent.

Put it another way. With Sessegnon, do we really need ANOTHER attacking midfielder/ forward with 6 players for 3 slots?
I would not want to lose any of the existing group that I have listed above.

You will note that Sissoko, GKN, Janssen are all missing along with Vorm. Figure that the first three will cover the money needed for the Sessegnon boys (with the younger being left at Fulham).

This leaves outstanding questions about those from KWP, Onomah and CCV that don't make Poch's 25 (the others are still a bit young). I hope we keep all 3 but really want KWP in the squad.

Anyhow, the main puzzle for me, as I mentioned is the one referenced earlier ---- surely we would have to lose players we don't want to lose to bring in more talent without disrupting the size and chemistry of the group.

Shows how well Levy and Poch have done the last few years. I can only come up with 1-2 players within the Prem that I would consider swapping for their "equivalent" in our squad.
