Depends what footed he is. ie not clever showing Mahrez inside when he’s cutting in from the right...etc
It’s standard for a fullback, regardless of what foot the other player plays off. Infield is where your support is, the fullback’s job is to push the attacker into traffic.
Generally, wingers look to get to the byeline to cross, that way attackers have the advantage as the defence are facing their own goal and CF’s can attack the ball. If the fullback shows a winger the outside it allows the winger to isolate him. Show him the inside and he usually has more players to try to beat.

Not so much in this game, but generally. We don't score enough for the amazing amount of changes we create.
No I totally agree based on the last few games. We've been pissing away really good chances.

The key moment in this game so far was the chance for Son and it was good to see us stick it away.

maybe we'll get the rustiness out in the second half - this is a good run out for Juve but would be happier if we were 2-0 up

Looks easy but we seem to really struggle to move the ball into the final third and keep it there.

Found a commentary on Five Live who give the impression that we are up for it as a team but Huddersfield are simply just trying to hang on somehow and sneak a result without risking anything. Sounds like a good atmosphere though and hopefully we get a couple of quick goals to finish the game.
By the way I wonder how often Son has got our first goal this season?

Seems we are mostly attacking down the left, even when Aurier is free...the left is really crowded.
This is something we tend to always do. Dele and Eriksen will always shift centrally favoring the side Son takes up to overload that side. Leaving our other FB as an outlet 1v1.

We'll get another goal I'm sure.

Lamela would fill his boots with all the space.

We're playing well and had it not been for some poor finishing and good goalkeeping it could be 3 or 4. They've not tested Hugo at all.

Although none want to admit it...it looks bit like the player already have an eye on the Juve match this coming Wednesday.

...great look in from Dier to Kane there - Eric's playing very well today...

We just aren’t transitioning or getting the ball into the attacking areas quickly enough.

We win the ball back and Dembele and Dier’s first thought is “where’s my life raft” not “where’s the throttle”.

Lamela or Lucas would change that
