Which they will be trying to do a great deal harder than trying to do it the following game against us. Pep would love to do the fk you dance with the PL Trophy right in front of Maureens face. I'd love him to do it as well.

And hopefully they will be a bit too relaxed against us! :cautious:

Sky just said 4 more wins. That’s at our place. Shame it wasn’t against Utd right before us.

the most points Man U can get if they win all their remaining games is 89pts

if City beat Stoke and Everton they will be on 85pts, so if they beat Utd that puts them on 88pts, negating Utd.

so if they win they win their next 3 City will be confirmed champs. Sky are not taking all fixtures into account, they are just saying the maximum points anyone chasing City can get which is Utd, and that City need 4 wins to get to 90

So let’s hope they beat stoke Everton and then utd! They will not then need to beat us to claim the title as they will already have it. Of course that doesn’t mean they won’t beat us. But I think we would have a better chance!

To be honest would rather we played a full strength city. If we are ever going to be title contenders in the future we need to step up, and prove it. No gimmes please!

I'll take a half arsed, hungover Man City if it's the difference between us getting CL football next season.

Surely going down to the wire.
We have some really tricky away games and suspect Chelsea will grind out victories to keep things very tight.
I do believe we will scrape it but a 5 point margin is slightly deceiving when you consider 2 of our next 4 fixtures include what surely will be dubbed 'Battle of the Bridge 2' and City at 'home'.
Suspect we will need to win 5 games and avoid defeat at CFC.
This is not to say that Liverpool and Utd are in the clear...the former are still nervy at the back and have some tough fixtures to come and Mourinho's men are not all that convincing.

Blood heck, Bournemouth is a mammoth of a game for us!

I agree, we have some tough games including the six pointer at the bridge so I would take a hungover rested city side. To be honest Chelski could have pinched a draw today. City looked tired to me. Lots of sideways passing but not much penetration, Chelski set up for a draw and nearly got it. 4th is hard to call but with us 5 points and goal difference clear it might all come down to the game at the bridge. I would take a draw right now!

i don't think it will be a gimmie if they win it before our game, though they might rotate a bit to keep fresh legs if they get through to the semi's of the CL. they have the chance to get some quite unbeatable records for a team winning the title.

kind of hoping Palace nick something off Utd tomorrow, then Utd and Liverpool draw. we need to beat a resilient Bournemouth team, then hope we can get a result away to Chelsea. against Chelsea we need to get a point and hope it's still at least 5pts by then. lose to that scum and it goes down to 2pts, then the City match could see us fall out the top 4

Lol guys wtf you guys on about? I said that it will be 2 of spurs, united and chelsea. In other words yes city and pool will be in top 4 and other 2 places will be between us 3.

Arsenal......:ROFLMAO: nah they certainly arent included. Pool have nice fixtures and i think they have momentum like us. I just cant discount chelsea. Even if they lose today.
Oh I see. Now you say it, it seems...erm... really obvious :)

Your assuming Chelsea win all their matches. In 2018 they’ve only beaten WBA and Brighton in the league.

unfortunately I'll never trust that Russian mafia mob. he will most probably offer them a big bonus to get off their arses, or sack Conte and give the players a lift

No better than 91 really.

Strongly disagree. FaCup and 2nd is much better than 10th. Juggling Europe too. I get the desire for trophies, but as spurs fans we need to get out of the mentality that only cup performance matters, imho of course, consistently being in the top few in the league means a much better chance of that holy grail of the league win.

I think it’s pretty obvious that it will turn out that Man City will need to beat us to win the league asap. It’s just how it is for us, there’s no way we will be lucky enough for them to win it the weekend before. It just doesn’t work like that for us.

City might win the title before they meet us, if they win all their games before facing us combined with Pool and United dropping some points in the interim
