Position we were in, though.... Come on. Tougher teams would have held on to that
But we’re playing a top side, sometimes it can happen if you just switch off for that moment. It happened to Juve in the first leg!

We just needed that bit of luck. If Lloris saves that first goal then I’m sure within a minute or two Poch would have changed it and it’d have been a different game.

I know I'm prob just being a dick about it, but I really can't understand the amount of people whose reaction right now is "so proud of the lads bla bla"
I mean, of course I am really, but for FUCK sake !!! Anger and disappointment at a result like that, always. Been the same since I was a kid. Feel so fucked off

When I was a kid we were fighting to be top of the bottom half and one season were genuinely fighting relegation. We were almost bust.

This is not the same. This is going out to a team that if we signed any of their outfield players other than their centre backs we would have been happy.

We did fcuking well. I'm damn fcuking PROUD.

We had no right to just win this tie, folks.

We made a fine fist of it and came up short against a very savvy team/manager.

We had a good run and showed the world we're to be reckoned with.

Still building.

Go all out for the FA cup and let's try and take a trophy into our new stadium in 6 months time.

Qualify for CL again and bring a night like this to our new home.

COYS.

How far we've come. Disappointing that we lost to a seasoned Juventus, one of the biggest teams in world football (probably should have won - deserved to). Yet we were never embarrassed.

At least one of pjanic and barzagli should have been sent off before either of their goals. Both committed 2 yellow card offences and barzagli fucken stomped all over son.

On another note, poch is terrible at in-game management. Takes way too long to change things when they clearly aren't working. Really frustrating to watch.

Poch still has his doubters & the game management of that game wont do him any favours, massive pressure on him now to deliver our remaining objectives for the season (Winning a trophy & securing a top 4 place)

This isn’t a matter of bottling it, it’s a matter of experience, Poch for all his good work fucked it up in the space of 10 mins. No one will be more pisssed off than him I’m sure, but we got beat by a tactical change we didn’t expect or see.

I swear all you people claiming bottling completely missed the tactical change Allegri made that completely sucker punched us. It was brilliant coaching and before we knew it we were behind.

Anyone using the b-word should be banned. Tonight was nothing to do with that. We had all pressure and chances after 1-2, we never did a PSG who switched off completely.

So they go to a 4-4-2 and im supposed to be impressed. Piss off. First goal ok it was a well worked goal but the 2nd was shit defending. To many excuses are made why we fail to win things.

Times like this I'm glad there's pretty much no football fans in the office....

I disagree that we were on top, go back and look at the comments in this thread when they scored the first goal and you'll see a chorus of "it was coming." Allegri changed it up to exploit the flanks and we could have switched to a back three to neutralize Trippier and Davies' weaknesses but we didn't. And I don't think it's the case that we got back on top so much as it is that they shut up shop.

Regardless, we gave a pretty good account of ourselves in the competition this season and hopefully will learn that at this level you cannot ever for a moment switch off the way we did at the beginning of the first leg or in those five minutes tonight. Now we need to concentrate on qualifying again so we can give it another go next year.

It was coming after the change on 60 minutes . The change impacted immediately. No way Poch going to know that was the impact. No way any manager was going to change for the first 10 minutes to see how things were going. Problem was we conceded the 2 goals quickly after the change.

Wouldn’t say refs are shit scared of them I would say they play on the edge of the laws of the game

They are scared buddy. They don' play on the edge of the laws either. They dive all over the place and pull shirts. The refs buy it all. These are EASY decisions.
