No, I said before we had turned a corner, we have mentally we have turned a corner, the performance against Juve away was the most mature performance I have seen from us.

But, we have yet to prove we have the mentality to get over the line, is that not the truth?

You don’t read it because you don’t care for others opinions, all you want is brownie points on here for picking apart people and their opinions when they post things in the heat of the moment over a sport full of emotion, you act like people should be rational after seeing the team they love get dumped out of the CL.

Must be incredibly boring for you watching us if you never feel the highs and lows.

Apologies mate, I let my frustrations out on you and shouldn't have.

Le'ts just agree to disagree and move on.

I'm not massively disappointed/surprised by the result, and as I managed to fuck up a bet I've actually netted a cool 140 notes tonight, but the absolute worst thing is what the complete twats in the media and talkDICK will be spouting. Will be the same old narrative that is soooo far from the mark/truth.

I'd actually sooner all the English teams get knocked out now just to shift the onus. The media in this country love seeing us fail. Shame really. In a European competition, you'd think they'd want the English teams to do well.
I would too if we didn't have to suffer the utter dog shit we'll have to endure over the next few days with thick ****s like Brazil and Quim fucking banging on about how Kane needs to go elsewhere/no ambition/spursy/trophies/blah blah fucking blah.

COYS. Proud of Spurs whichever way you slice it. We lost the game. It's as simple as that. We move on.

I blame my dad. At 1-0 he said "they look beaten". I disagreed.

Anyone else have similar emotions? At 1-0 I was a nervous wreck as soon as it went 1-1 I was calm as can be.

I think it just hurts so much as we were so close to a massive result but we were not winning this competition, look at the sides still in it.

We need to just get top 4 and PLEASE Poch go all out for the FA cup now, you have nothing else and I cant deal with a summer of press talking about us not winning anything and losing players.

Proud of the team but fail to get top 4 this year and win nothing will be a really shit end to the season so lets hope we bounce back on Sunday and get back on a run and sow up top 4 and get the FA Cup back to where it belongs...!
We are a good side, possibly a top four side. Definitely top 5, but we are not a side yet who are going to win the champions league. Yes the talk will start about a Nearly Team, but let’s face it, we have been. Would it surprise me if we get knocked out of the cup and Chelski beat us to fourth, not at all, and if we are honest I think most on here would say the same. Is it possible we can win the FA cup and finish fourth, absolutely! I think a big indication will be the match at Bournemouth, they will fancy that we will be down after the match and they can take advantage. If we are not to be the Nearly boys again, we have to take one step at a time and Bournemouth is that first telling step.

In the grim old days back in the 90s, I never thought that we would qualify for the UEFA cup let alone CL.

Could not have imagined being in a champions league group with real and dortmund and getting out of it. At the start of the season most people completely wrote us off.

Qualifying for the UEFA cup was a myth throughout the 90s.

I'm gutted, but it is another step in the right direction. The most important thing is that we bounce back at the weekend. In the end only one team wins the champions league every season, the rest lose just as we did tonight. We've got to make sure now that we are back in it again next season.

I think we will. Those players will be desperate too play on that stage again as soon as possible.

Totally gutted though!

At 1-0 Beglin on commentary said Juve haven't threatened spurs at all, I turned to my dad and said I hate when they say that kind of shit and within 10 seconds Higuain scored ffs. Couldn't make it up.

Fair enough mate, I appreciate that, I apologise as well, I also let it get the best of me, just utterly devastated watching us lose that.

Agreed and for the record, I don't doubt that you love Spurs, I know you care deeply about this club, we both do let's face it, we just react emotionally in different ways and like you say, sometimes it's best to just agree to disagree.

I swear all you people claiming bottling completely missed the tactical change Allegri made that completely sucker punched us. It was brilliant coaching and before we knew it we were behind.

Anyone using the b-word should be banned. Tonight was nothing to do with that. We had all pressure and chances after 1-2, we never did a PSG who switched off completely.
Agreed. What did he change it to mate, was hard to tell from where I was sitting, we thought he went to 3-4-3?

How contraire of you!

If you’re going to laud him when he does something well, why should you not be allowed to criticise him in a well-argued way?

There are some very well reasoned posts criticising him, there are others that could well be pretty much straight out of the RAWK archives.

I recorded the game. Just came home, sat down put the tv down and some Irish prick who never made it at the top level telling me that Spurs lost and its a catastrophe for Spurs and Poch and how it's going to affect the players and Poch thinking on what Spurs can achieve. So not only did he ruin watching the game, he made me think we were hammered .

Stormed up to bed, not ready to see any of the game now.
