Bullshit bullshit bullshit bullshit BULLSHIT.

The reason the match thread "becomes toxic" is because people LIKE YOU fill it incessantly with with rage-filled expressions of hate at OUR OWN PLAYERS and do it 20-30 minutes into a match.

It's because people (all men, never women) CANNOT CONTROL THEIR RAGE and splutter out infantile, furious expressions of bile at OUR OWN PLAYERS.

It's the fault of people like you. You. Not people who, often-snidely, point out what an absolute fuckwit you have been, all over every match thread.

I scarcely ever post during the match. Partly, that's because I'd rather watch the football than parade "my opinion" all over a forum. But mostly, it's because people like you fuck up every match thread with your vicious, hate-filled filth and rage.

Take some responsibility, you coward.

Just got back from dinner. Watched first half before going, just watched recorded 2nd half.

Great win, but may I ask is there any news on injuries?. Thanks.

Good win today after a shaky start had we started like that against one of the better sides we may had lost today, but instead we rallied and slowly turned the game around.
We could and probably in the past would have folded but instead settled down and found a way to win, a few players had a strange game today certainly aurier who got and assist and a goal but in general play was a bit of a liability just hope kanes injury isn't too bad.

The funny thing is that Dele, Serge and Lamela, the 3 players that people love to hate all contributed well in this match. :D

Well, a couple of people have said Kane is out for 6 weeks to 12 weeks, depending on who you listen to. I think it's based on him holding his ankle with both hands for 14 seconds but it might be that it took him 4 seconds to wince.

The only official news that I've seen is that Kane is having a scan tomorrow. Dunno why they are bothering, obviously they don't read SC straight after a game.

Son will get all the plaudits for his goals but Erik Lamela was unreal.

He plays so many clever passes and always pops up in good positions.

He links the midfield to the attack so, so well. He’s one player who will give his 100% every time. He’s clearly so strong mentally to come back after so long out and perform the way he has.

New contract needed immediately.
Absolutely agree! He was key to Sons goal on the break-away. Tremendous effort to get up alongside hime. Although Son went neatly around the goalkeeper - Lamela presence to the side meant both goalkeeper and defender were always in two minds. Particularly when a move is in motion passes are beautifully timed and placed.

Come on guys some posters do lose their shit after like 10 minutes, it's what makes the match day thread what it is. People have their favourites and their Jenas'. Aurier, Sissoko, Llorente even Dier to a certain point do get the brunt of the wrath while mistakes buy Sanchez, Hugo or Lamela seem to get a by. Plus us as a fan base seem to have quite a number of pant shitters, basically saying a game is over in 20 minutes. It's all in the vacuum of the match day thread.

I thought Lemela was great when he come on.

This boy is so good both with and without the ball and works his nuts off. I suppose with that much talent he should get more goals but anyway.

Son ? The boy is absolute mustard and what a player to watch. Special, special player and all with a big smile.

Aurier  but plenty of time to settle

I followed the game from Germany this evening. The first half hitting refresh on my phone waiting for updates. Second half I got to watch in a bar, luckily. The people who want or need to blow off steam during the game, while it's happening - let them. We're all a bit that way. And we're all on the same side in the end.

I literally included that post in my response to him...

I didn't deny making any reaction? I said, when I posted that, it was accurate, I admit the "We are fucked" comment was over the top, Kane being out is a worry and it was in the heat of the moment but the rest of what I posted at that time was the truth.

I wasn't "melting" at all, I confidently said we would win 3-1, the rest of my posts were made based on what I was seeing at the time. I haven't lied about anything, I quite literally copied my posts for him to see.

I started "Shitstirring with negativity" is that what we call criticism of a live football performance now?

I consider "Toxic" to be someone calling another poster a "fuckwit" and being a sexist towards men, not only that but ALL of my posts you have posted were regarding the football and not other people, were they not?

The only one that wasn't in those posts quoted was me addressing the numerous posts after the goal of posters taking the opportunity to call out all the "Dele haters" etc.

I mean, David literally said they were "Vicious, hate-filled rage"
I have only seen the fag end of this, but it seems you are drowning in a whirlpool of your own making, perhaps. I might be wrong, of course, but life's too short to go through the whole thread.

A lot of what goes on is the equivalent of booing though and I'd like to think those posters wouldn't be doing that if they were actually at the ground.

My own major issue with how some people behave in the match thread is that I often have to follow games using a combination of this and the BBC app. A bit more objective analysis of what's actually happening would be very helpful for me (and presumably others like me).

Came back from a 12km hike in the forests. Match was on a channel I don't have, so cannot see how we did. Anyone could post the goals please?
