When you consider that they are the most deluded, entitled, embittered, self-pitying and self-righteous fans in the country, and that we’ve just gone above them yet again, after they’ve been writing us off all season, it’s not surprising to find even more utter shite than normal spilling from their quivering gobs now, is it?
You should pop into the match day thread.

Jordan Henderson is the only player in the Liverpool squad have to have won anything at Liverpool, though.

Sanchez and Ozil were linked with transfers away from Arsenal because they were both running their contracts down and refusing to sign new ones. Sanchez eventually left and now Ozil has signed a new contract I doubt there'll be many stories linking him away in the next few windows.

Yes, but there's always a reason.

The press have said often enough that Klopp needs to win trophies. They've asked countless times whether and why Pogba is a flop. They've speculated endlessly about Conte's future. And Bale's. And Ronaldo's. And....etc etc....

They've never stopped talking about whether there's a shift in power in North London. About whether this manager or that manager will last the season, how many games have they got left....I could go on, ad infinitum.

There's always a reason, even when it's Spurs, which for example is why this forum is full of people complaining about Levy not paying Toby what he's worth: it may or may bot be a fair reflection of the truth, just as with all other clubs.

The thing is, it is a question of our perspective. That is why supporters of all clubs believe the media prefers their opponents, it's why they always think refers favour someone else, it's why fans so often believe that when their team loses it isn't because the opposition was so much better, but because their team didn't play as well as they should....all that sort of thing is to do with perspective.

It is not endemic, systemic media bias.

He has an Air Cast on, it's used for sprains, twists and breaks. Harry clearly hasn't broken his ankle, it's used as a precaution. We'll no doubt find out more information about it tomorrow.

Nice. That's my hometown club and even in the town their fans are renown for being utterly deluded and victims.
Shame we're not playing them again this season. We could have worn black arm bands with "Harry Kane: You'll Never Walk Alone" written across them....after a minute's silence for his achilles of course. :shifty:

This makes quite pleasant reading, feeling their joy as bournemouth go one up, to Kane going off injured, and they basically resort to insults as we pretty much dismantle Bournemouth.

They are unbelievable.

The conspiracy theories and perceived narratives relating to offsides etc are insane. It’s like they take apart every goal their rivals score to justify why they shouldn’t have won, and why they are ‘lucky’ or not any good.

Imagine being like that. It would be exhausting.

Are there any other comments from non Liverpool fans? I get their fanbase is full of mouth breathers but we don't need to know what they are saying every day, just becomes an obsession if we keep posting their ramblings in here.

I personally think these can be posted in the Liverpool thread.

Yeah. Getting a little fed up with our obsession with their obsession. Piss takers want nothing more than to see someone get wound up. So, how about we simply just ignore their bullshit for a week. Stop giving it any more energy. Instead let’s focus on the teams we’re currently playing against.

I’ve read a couple of other fans forums that seem to think Son was offside (assuming for his 2nd) but he was in our half when the ball was played, you can’t be off side in your own half!
Unless you are Vertonghen playing against Sunderland...

Liverpool fans are a gift.

What a shite weekend but ah well we’ll have our time again

You've been saying you'll have your time for about 20 years now buddy

Yeah they did well to come through us, Utd and Arsenal- they got extremely lucky.

Ah yes, those lucky victories we managed over Arsenal and United, shame we didn't actually score more. As for the result against Liverpool themselves, if we don't get the Kane penalty then they don't score the 2nd themselves. But ye, those 7 points from 9 were very lucky

Funny, because when I had my Mensa exam 5 years ago my IQ was 131 and I believe that certain sections of the media have an agenda against us, I better call them and make sure they gave me the correct test results.

I guess you must be superior though, us plebeians must be delusional to think that pundits who support other clubs might have an agenda, it’s such a ludicrous proposition that people can be affected by bias isn’t it? I better get my tin foil hat back on and know my place in the intellectual hierarchy.

OR, you could just be wrapped up in your own confirmation bias so much that you refuse to acknowledge the possibility that we are the whipping boys of the media because we aren’t considered a “big club” yet by the wider press as they skew towards the “bigger” clubs and employ many people who have either played for, or support our direct rivals?

I mean, is that even a possibility in your mind? Or am I just imagining the fact that after every game we “bottle it” the media are constantly talking about our players being sold but a club like Liverpool never get this kind of coverage?

I must just be imagining things.

I know it' off topic and was a few days ago. But just wanted to show you this mate.
