It's a disgusting act, but I'm loathe to castigate anyone that's made a mistake in the heat of the moment, especially when they've scored so many great goals for us! :banhappy::chicken:

I have come to quite like Carragher's punditry but that's pretty disgusting behaviour.

What on earth was he thinking to gob out his car window at someone?

He has left Sky in a bit of a dilemma here - they will have to be seen to do something.

He's made himself look like a real lowlife here.
He's let the football fan in him come out by getting riled up by the comments, which has provoked a strong reaction, a disgusting one at that.

I'd hate to be a very famous ex-pro. Must get shit all the time. Imagine being sat down at a meal and some dick starts something. You'd only be able to bite your tongue for so long. But that's unacceptable behaviour.

I’m disappointed to be honest I know he’s a scouser but I like him as a pundit and him and Nevill work well together on MNF.

Then again I remember being disappointed when sky got rid of keys and grey because I thought they was good too.

I’m obviously a shit judge of character lol

Difference with this is he’s easily able to ignore it. They weren’t banging on his car window. Just close your window, turn the radio up and pretend they’re not there.

Pretty dickish thing for the Dad to do, but Carragher has made himself look like a right scumbag. People have been sacked for less.

I think this could be a fake story guys, after all there's not even a mention of it on Sky Sports News :sneaky:
Joey Barton on TS hit the nail on the head earlier, he called Sky out and said if it wasn’t ‘one of their own’ they’d be showing the incident on a loop and then gave examples of both himself and Ben Stokes.
He needs to be sacked, absolutely disgusting behaviour.

I’m sure I’ve seen Carragher on Sky before talking about how disgusting spitting is. Maybe it was when he was talking about his mate Djiouf, but I can definitely picture him talking about it. Such a weird reaction, it’s not like he was playing for them when they lost. The second he did it he must’ve thought wtf have I just done. Anyway I’ve checked YouTube but obviously when I type ‘Carragher spit’ or anything similar then about 300 of yesterday’s videos show up and not the one I’m looking for from Sky.

Has anyone linked a Rawk thread yet to see if they’re defending him?

I’m not convinced he needs to be sacked - Sky will need to take strong action but I wouldn’t be shocked if he was suspended without pay until next season, but is then brought back.

You never want to wish the worst on people, especially when they have made a mistake and especially when we are all capable of making howlers. So what happens now in relation to his job etc, is up to his bosses. I have my own views on that but that’s not the point I’m making here.

What frustrates me is again the reaction of what is clearly a biased media. Not that I have any afinity to Joey Barton or others like him, but if it were one of them, let’s face it the reaction would be very different.

Just listened to Danny Murphy on talkSPORT (who is clearly his mate), basically tell us all what a wonderful guy he is and that he does so much for charity etc etc, but he states this is said to add a ‘bit of context’. I wonder what ‘context’ he would be adding if it were Barton, Rooney or say Adeybayor (to name a few off the top of my head).

As I say it highlights the biaised media that many of us are swayed by and buy into on a daily basis.

Agree. It’s not like people are calling for him to be thrown in prison. Just rightly expect him to be sacked from his very lucrative job on the most premium subscription TV company.

'I've done some stupid stuff but you just cannot do that.' @Joey7Barton gives us his reaction to a video which shows #LFC legend Jamie Carragher spitting at a 14-year-old #MUFC fan and her father...

Joey Barton wanting another bite off carra

No joey, you've done much worse.

Dismal behaviour - but phones were ready as though they were expecting this. Prob trousered a couple of grand from the Mirror.

Should he be sacked? It was poor all round but how can you defend spitting at people like that? Total lack of insight. He'll probably have to go. He can redeem himself by appearing on IACGMOH.
