On a positive note, he walked off by himself. No stretcher or help from the medical staff. Hope to have him back against Chelski

I commented on that during the game. Why do they let players walk off in that kind of situation? If he leaves the stadium on crutches, wearing a brace, why is he walking off the pitch.

I didn't see the first half so I don't know if it maybe didn't look so serious at the time but still seems a pointless risk to take.

I'm sure they know what they're doing.

The air cast is mainly about swelling

Walking off would make no difference to a ligament injury and provides no indication as to the severity of the problem.

Don't think anyone should look into the fact he walked off. Modric walked off after he fractured his leg.

Neither Kane nor the physio saw the images obviously. All kane has to go on is way it feels. So obviously while on the pitch it didn’t feel that bad. He was in no obvious discomfort, so he clearly indicated to physio he could run it off. Be back or on bench for Chelsea imo. Remember de Bruyne going off on a stretcher after that horrendous challenge, was back the following Saturday. Tbh Kane wasn’t even limping just walking slowly.

That's a good point about KDB. His looked bad & he didn't miss any games. You can get lucky & get away with a sprain or bruising.
We might as well stay positive until told otherwise.

We actually looked better without Kane yesterday, still important that we get him back soon though.

He missed 6 weeks the first time, 4 weeks the second time so it will be 2 weeks this time.

Gards is saying the scan has been done and it's the same as last time
Couldn't tell if he was saying the injury was the same as last time or if we won't know until the day after the scan which is the same as last time. If I recall in the past scans had to be delayed several days due to swelling so it always took a while before any injury news was announced.
