United had that coming. Just too bad that their performances haven't come back to haunt them more in the league as well. Then they would have had to worry about chasing a 4th placed Chelsea.

From Red café

"We're the place where good players come to die. Hopefully none of the good players available this summer have noticed this."

That's some real insight there. Kudos.

They ain' 'appy. :)

They hate Lukaku, hate Pogba and are now turning against Sanchez. :D

Still surprised they're surprised that they "don't play like a United team". :wideyed:

Maureen is very good at some things...scintillating, dynamic, swashbuckling football - which they are used to - is NOT (typically) one of them.

their fans seem to want something that they will never get again. The football of peak Ferguson will never happen again. Its all lots of their fans have ever known so no wonder they're spitting their dummies out. Still winning trophies though aren't they, so not all bad. Another set of self entitled fans like the arsenal ones.

Not long now until Moaninho throws a wobbly. It all ended in tears at Chelsea and it will at Man United. They will regret giving him a new extended contract.

What Arsenal players really thought of 'hated' Alexis Sanchez before his Manchester United switch

Arsenal's former striker Alexis Sanchez was 'hated' at the club before his mega-money move to Manchester United .

The want-away Chilean star finally got his wish to leave the Emirates in the January transfer window in a switch to Old Trafford.

In a drawn out transfer saga, it appeared that Sanchez had become disillusioned with life at the club and with his Arsenal teammates, report football.london .

But now the truth behind just how isolated the 29-year-old had become in North London prior to his departure has been revealed by journalist Raphael Honigstein.

Honigstein told the Totally Football Show Podcast: “It has become a bit of a joke to laugh at Arsenal because they made the noise 'finally we got rid of Alexis Sanchez', but I think it’s been under-reported just how badly the whole Arsenal dressing room hated Alexis Sanchez.

“They really felt that he was just playing up to the camera doing all these things like ‘Oh I’m trying but nobody else is! What am I doing here?

“Arsenal would put up stats inside the dressing room last year after every game showing the amount of kilometres run, the passing, and Sanchez would regularly come out with the lowest mileage by a big distance.

"The players would just go absolutely bananas at him playing to the camera and making all these moves like ‘Oh, they’re just not worthy of me! What am I doing here?

“So they really wanted to get rid of him. Whether they have improved as a team is a different story, but I think it is a happier dressing room.”

Jose just went on a Rafaesque rant jeez he talks some balls

Exactly my first thoughts. He’s just had his Rafa moment. Hopefully he goes the same way Rafa did at Liverpool once he did that....

His points were sometimes fair* but if I was listening to a Spurs manager basically saying how shit we were and how great Arsenal were then I probably wouldn’t like it too much. Redknapp did it in very short spurts here and there (never had it so good etc) when he was under pressure but to go into a press conference with that list of stats he just used and saying how crap Utd have been over the last few years is quite something.

*well, fair as fair can be when someone has £978m to spend on players
