The good news is, we only have one more game this month, and only three between now and April 13th.

Hopefully he'll be back by then. I have every confidence in Son and Llorente stepping up with the assistance of Eriksen, Lamela, Dele and Lucas.

Considering Toby has been out since November with a frigging Hammy I’m not optimistic that we’ll see Kane again this season.

In recent scientific discovery, some experts are saying that not all humans are alike.

I reckon we ought to write him off for the season, if he makes it back at all we've got a bonus.
What that means is that we will need to utilise Llorente so we need to work on training to suit his game.
I agree with the general sentiment - but I think we will look more like Liverpool's front four in Kane's absence. Not sure I see a starring role for Llorente, maybe a few cameo appearances.

I don’t see his as huge problem. Son plays up front, more minutes for Lamela/Moura. Kane gets a much needed rest.

May newspaper Headlines:

KANE READY FOR WORLD CUP!

Kane got back from injury mid April after watching Spurs beat Chelsea and Stoke, the rest seemed to be just what he needed as he got back to his best form and went on to score 24 more goals in the remaining 8 matches to fire Spurs onto 2nd place and FA Cup victory! In other news Chelsea and Arsenal fans were seen crying 'why us?' as they had all summer to think about trips to Kazakhstan whilst West Ham have Burton Albion to look forward too...

Edit* I was thinking about saying we went on to finish 1st but wanted it to be realistic...

Yeah this is one reason why it was really important to bring in Moura.

It means Son can go upfront without us losing much in the wide areas.

We need Kane v Chelsea City. He holds the ball up when we're under pressure, not sure Son can provide this to be honest, hopefully proved wrong

Agreed. Not only does Kane hold the ball up but he bullies the opposition defenders and drags them all over the place, thus opening up space for the likes of Eriksen, Dele and Son to do their thing.

Look... We’re going to be so good in his absence with our new fluid and interchanging front 3, that Kane won’t even get back into the team when he’s fit. (y)

Yep, he’s probably faked injury as he thought he was going to get dropped... ;)

Kane should be back versus City. Also, we can adapt. I actually see Dembele as more crucial to holding onto the ball when we’re under pressure

The Liverpool front four aren't good at holding a lead towards the end of a game, I feel like I am making the case for Llorente even though I never wanted him years ago when most people did, however, there may be times when a target man like him up front could help retain possession when we are trying to hold a lead.
Returning to my original post my basic point was that we need to plan for the rest of the season without Harry.

I think your posts give you your own answer - Llorente will come on late to help hold leads.

I do wonder how this injury impacts Southgate's decision on the permanent Captain for England.

Will he make the decision now, or wait until this summer?

Not a dig at you, but I honestly think the position is basically meaningless, aside from it being nice for the player in question.
