There are lot of english cb right now in epl .. tarkowskk, maguire, lascellas, lewis dunk - who can become toby's replacement?
Have we been linked to him?

With the new price list for next season. Llorentes and Nkodous wont do. I want some elite players now.
New stadium or not, if anyone thinks there is going to be a new free spending, pay what it takes attitude to transfers they are seriously deluded.
The budget for transfers and wages is going up, but no way will we change our approach to transfer windows, none what so ever. If you are expecting established top level players in their prime(that is what I quantify as an elite player) then prepare to be disappointed.
Got to say I’m actually really confused what we need now if we need anything at all. We seem to have so many ways of playing it’s very hard to pin point certain players in any position apart from defence. Is there really a better back up striker in the league right now than Son? The only one I’d think of taking over him is Rashford. Let’s be honest if we can find someone better than Son to sit on our bench that’s gonna be a minor miracle. CM is very confusing especially as I now quite like the idea of Eriksen deeper. I think whoever we bring in has to very flexible. I actually like the idea of a powerhouse winger/Am it’s something we don’t have like a Bailey or even a Michal Antonio when he was looking good. I think it’s important to have variety in styles.
If West Ham went down I would be on Antonio like a tramp on chips
He's nearer 28.He’s 27 and not that good.
Imo, of course.
Well he is factually 27, but it’s my opinion he’s not very good
When did I say that?
I expect us to keep our transfer policies but buy better young players than we could previously afford.
Just because you have a bit of occasional itk, doesn't make you any better than anyone else on the forum.

He's very predictable and looks like he's put on about three stone since his injury. He’s 27 and not that good.

I think one of our biggest current deficiencies is an Eriksen alternative. We're bereft of creativity when he doesn't play. One player who I would consider for that role is Pascal Gross of Brighton. He can play in a number of positions, both in the hole and out wide, he'd likely be a cheap option, he's still at a good age, and most importantly he's been fucking class for Brighton this season with 5 goals and 8 assists, and by all accounts was excellent for Ingolstadt in both their Bundesliga campaigns before they were relegated. He's impressive every time I've seen Brighton play.
Obviously people would be looking for a bigger statement signing, which would be fair enough, but as far as prudence is concerned, I think he'd be a smart investment and could thrive in our system.
He was 27 on his birthday. The day after that, he is 28.But he is 27...
