He, c-l-e-a-r-l-y, wasn't the right choice at all. Not at all.

And he'll be gone in the summer... because he wasn't the right choice.

Stating that "Fernando was a ludicrous acquisition" is "Vitriol over seeing a spurs player struggle"?? lol o_O

You're trying to imply vitriol from me towards FL and you know that's not the case.

A. What a slimeball, agenda-driven, post to make.
B. In your world, a spurs fan is not allowed to be critical of the fact a player has been bought to play in a critical position, who was clearly not going to be a good fit for the team (to anyone who had a fucking clue), and that proves to be the case?

Strange, strange world.

Now, you can either show me where I've been specifically spiteful/hateful towards FL, or you can stfu.

You used to be a cool guy; now you're just turning into an insufferable bore.
No agenda in my post, I genuinely can’t see who would have performed better in his circumstances, and I don’t see that there were any massive warning signals against signing him. Funny thing his, he’s scored in the only league game he’s started.

As for you not being vitriolic, that was me being polite about your constant ‘I told you so’ attitude.

This just popped up on BBC

Chelsea expect to be playing at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2019-20 season and will be forced to play at an alternative venue - likely to be Wembley Stadium - for up to four years during construction.

4 years at Wembley wow, that could kill them.

If you could harvest Ligament, which of our players would you sacrifice to restore Kane's ankle? Cannot be loaned out. (y)

I'm going Llorente, he don't need it tbh

Fuck that, have you seen how immobile those ligaments are!

It would be like those transplant stories where characteristics are picked up from the donor, therefore we'd need Messi's.

Am I the only one who thinks we're going to smash chelsea?
I'd be very surprised if we did. They're struggling atm, down on one knee, and it always seems to happen in these big games that we don't play to our potential and the other side have their best game in weeks

They were absolutely shit when we chased leicester and raised their game against us... but this time around i would settle for a 2-2

Unsurprising. You don't recover from ligament damage in a couple of weeks. Would be good to have him back for City. Just got to get through the Chelsea match without him.

Given the ambiguity of the return date, I think that expecting late April may be the best approach.

I'll be very, very surprised if he makes Man City.

My guess is he will be back for Brighton or Watford, sadly.

I'd take "extremely unlikely" for Chelsea to be honest. Means he should be back for City, and most importantly the 3/4 league games and potential Cup games afterwards.

Last year, he got injured on the 12. of march and was back in training and ready for a cameo vs. Watford the 7th of april. But even then, his inclusion had a ring of "well, that escalated quickly" and he was back before we dared hope. Him being back for Stoke on the 7th this time around would be bonerrific.

Also; the OS seem to indicate in their fixture list that the Newcastle game will be played in midweek between the Stoke and the City game. If so, then that's a bloody important week.
