Mauricio Pochettino says Tottenham cannot use Harry Kane's injury absence as an excuse for not reaching the FA Cup semi-finals and continuing their fine form in the league.

Does anyone know the win percentage with and without Kane?

It'd be interesting if the media provided win % in each period he was out, not just a total amount.

IE, the first time when he was injured against Sunderland, then again when he was injured Vs Milwall.
I have a suspicion he was far less missed 2nd time around.

Yeah you would have thought he would make a huge difference to results, but I think we did manage to win a fair amount games witout him last time. It’s up to Ali, Son and Eriksen to chip in what’s needed. If anything, it makes us less predictable when Kane isn’t playing, but obviously he is a lethal finisher. We’ll just have to hope and pray that they can do what’s required of them. I would defo give Moura some game time, even if it’s just the last 20 mins etc.

I'm fairly sure it was Son who stepped up last time

I’m nowhere near as worried as I thought I’d be. A front 3 of Dele, Son and Lamela with Eriksen and Dembele feeding them is scary enough. We can bring on Lucas for some direct pace.

I think in the last 8 game period without Harry we won 6 and drew 2. 0 losses. I'm not worried at all. Plus we also have Lucas now, and I'm surprised why he isn't used more.

His last absence was 8 games, 5 wins and 3 draws I believe. .

EDIT; Just looked it up on Google. Looks like our win percentage with and without Kane since start of the 16/17 season is 64% with and 58% without and this was as at end of October ...

Personally I think Harry needed a rest he hasn't looked at his best for a while. The thing is Harry gives the impression of always giving everything he has so a few weeks rest now could pay dividends for us. All we need is for the rest to operate at the levels they are capable of. I am looking forward to seeing more of Moura

Harry not at his best? Careful, the "oh yeah let's sell him then" people might come out to play.
