That’s one of the big problems with VAR in football. Once he’s called offside players automatically switch off.

Good point that. i can see the situation where the defending team stop playing and and the striker scores and it isn't overturned.

And if he was an inch further back he wouldn't have been able to get to the ball and control it.

Hmmm. So the linesman was wrong but VAR was right to let him be wrong. In that situation when it's so tight surely he should just keep his flag down knowing it will be looked at if Son scores regardless.

That's another one of the bad points about var.... It's going to make the officials sidestep decisions.

Weakening our team to give England a better chance in two friendlies would be lunacy. I don't think that's happening tho.
nothing to do with England mate, just giving him a week off coming into a crucial part of the season, for a match we should win without him.
