Pretty good all round display and nice to see we have more options in the way we play than at the start of the season. I was at Wembley when Swansea were even more defensive yet we failed to really threaten them. The movement of the front four is great. Shame for Son that he had that goal chalked off as it was superb

Feels like Swansea are playing with 10 men. We are just passing the ball around them like they are training cones. One of the easiest games against a pl opponent this season. Feels like a training match.

One of the few times i have not been nervous at all. Swansea should be ashamed.

Why??? Just why???

Swansea are hardly even there. 4-0 ta.

Can only beat what is put in front of you. Swansea have been awful. It's like they want to be knocked out. But Spurs have taken advantage of their apathy and have played superbly with the acres of space we've been allowed to have.

Sonny looks subdued when Lamela scored, what happen to team spirit? He's having a bit of that sense of entitlement aint he or is he still holding a grudge against Lamela over that penalty

KWP should come in for Trippier cause he's no better than me playing RB. I just need to pass the ball back.

That said, without Kane, attacking third feels a bit more fluid at times.

Perfectly solid.

Good game from him so far.

Allowing Moose to get an nice rest.

yeah I think he's been given a slightly different remit, and he's executing it pretty well.

I'm sure BC will be along in a bit saying he isn't scoring enough bicycle kicks or something.;)

You're reading too much into that

A few HT observations.

Eriksen has obviously been masterful, the best player on the pitch, but Sissoko has also had an excellent half. He looks as if he's been studying Dembélé very closely, because that was full of moves straight out of the other Mousa's playbook. He showed good judgment for when to pass and when to rumble forward with the ball and his passing has not only been precise, it's also been penetrating. He's won the ball, interplayed well with Trippier and dominated his space. Should have headed that bouncing ball at the end of the half, but otherwise, pretty flawless.

I wonder how much of Lamela's goal was due to the goalkeeper being completely wrong-footed, because Lamela never strikes the ball with his right foot. His view was partly blocked by the defender who was making the weak challenge, but you can see him leaning in the direction where a left-footed shot would be more likely to go.

Son's wrongly-disallowed goal was a beautiful thing. Such a pity we won't have that to celebrate.

Lucas was strangely un-involved until the last 20 minutes or so. He made one lovely, slaloming run, with a great feint, but he scarcely saw the ball until the 25 minute mark.

Piece of piss so far. Swansea don't look bothered for this game. We've been easy enough on the eye but this is such a stroll it's hard to get overly excited by it.

They'll probably at some stage have a go, so I hope we're wary and waiting for it and keep a tight control on the game, but in a commanding position at this point.

Maybe if Swansea were allowed to bring on all their substitutes and play with 18 men they might make a match of it :meh:.
