I'd you'd have told me 10 years ago that Kevin Bacon and Rio Ferdinand would star in an advert together I'd have thought you were high.

Now I think I'm high.

To all those saying Sissoko has played well, how about we wait until Swansea do something other than sit down on masse 20 yards from their goal.

He's done nothing wrong. But the vast majority of what he's done is so basic it would be fucking unbelievable if he had done something worng. Even Dier's been more ambitious.

We could be playing with Corroll and Sung-yung as our CM2 and we'd be more purposeful than with Dier and Sissoko against a team who have pretty much offered no pressure at all.

We've played well as a team, but we have not been tested at all. It's the easiest half of football we've had all season. We've thoroughly merited the 2 goal lead, Eriksen's been sublime, and I really like the fluidity of our forwards, it makes us hard to defend against and with Lamela and Eriksen out there we have two players capable seeing a through ball.

be interesting to see what happens now Swansea have absolutely fuck all to lose. They have got to have a go now, and with the players we have out there, Moura could get more of a look in on the counter this half.

Yawn...seriously BC

We’re ruining BT Sport’s narrative. Aww.
To be fair most people only know we have Kane and Dele, maybe the odd person knows of Son ... and I am talking football pundits/writers etc. Today they have to learn more name like Eriksen, Lamela and Moura so that is really taxing their brainpower, or lack thereof. Please so some sympathy for these poor folk

Love eriksen and lamela on the pitch at the same time. Eriksen is perfect defensive playmaker (pirlo esq) and lamela is a great 10 (plus he works harder than most 10's)

To be a great 10 he needs to score a hell of a lot more

Sonny looks subdued when Lamela scored, what happen to team spirit? He's having a bit of that sense of entitlement aint he or is he still holding a grudge against Lamela over that penalty

KWP should come in for Trippier cause he's no better than me playing RB. I just need to pass the ball back.

That said, without Kane, attacking third feels a bit more fluid at times.
Just wow on this post haha, also what has Trips done wrong, thought his having a great game

Bore off. It's fucking tiresome.

I'm getting more confident on the game against Chelsea, even without Kane, Who are their defenders going to mark to stop us getting the goals when we have so many I-form goal scorers in the squad now.

What a pointless amount of effort it must have taken to blame Sissoko for a what might hypothetically happen if things had been different

Piece of piss so far. Swansea don't look bothered for this game. We've been easy enough on the eye but this is such a stroll it's hard to get overly excited by it.

They'll probably at some stage have a go, so I hope we're wary and waiting for it and keep a tight control on the game, but in a commanding position at this point.
Hope they remember the spammers game and approach the second half in a serious manner

Agree and Dier and Sissoko worry me Dier giving the ball away and you saw what Sissoko did when rushed, letting the ball bounce. If Swansea are to get back in this I feel it will be a Spurs mistake by either Dier or Sissoko. Also hate to see Verts going forward on a run in a game like this, no need and if he loses the ball they are on the break. Rest of the team playing well. Would like to see Son in the game a bit more or subbed for Dele if he doesn’t after 15 mins second half.

Well done for trying to find all the negatives out of that half !

My half time observations for what it's worth,
Var worked correctly by not contesting as it was inconclusive the fault was the Linesman's as he could not have seen it conclusively.
Clucas has a balance problem, he keeps falling over.
Our short fast one touch passing has been sublime on occasions.
Lamela has grown into the game and is really regaining his touch and his confidence.
Moura wandered around a bit early doors but found his feet very well half way through.
Eriksen....well you know without me telling you:)
Men against boys.
