I think we have made them look this bad. They tried pressing then we exploited them. They tried to sit back and we still picked the lock. We are a bastard of a team to play against. All because of one man.

Well, Sissoko played well but he had some help... :cautious:

Excellent team performance all round, literally everyone did their job, you can only beat the opposition in front of you, and Swansea were poor, but I I'd like to think that was more down to us making them look poor. Eriksen was sublime, and if we are to maintain /secure top 4 and get to the final in HK's absence we must make sure he avoids injury at all costs.

Please please if Chas and Dave are up for it. They need to make a song if we get there.

Re who we'll get in the semi-finals, the FA Cup has often thrown up quirky draws over the years. By that, I mean teams scheduled to play each other in the league the week before or after the cup weekend are quite often drawn to face each other in the cup that weekend. Indeed, sometimes teams due to meet in the league have to postpone the league match because they've been drawn to meet each other in the cup the same weekend. Based on that premise, I reckon we'll be drawn against Brighton!

It may not be a home ground exactly but surely we must be more comfortable playing there in the semis now than we would've been any other year (regardless of the fact it'll technically be a neutral ground). Most confident I've been of us winning a trophy for many a year.

But then again we're spurs so I'm sure we'll find a way of fucking it up anyway.

Yep, I did hope at the start of the season that for all the inconvenience of Wembley it could give us an advantage should we make the cup semi which is exactly where we are.
BT shouldn't be lazily calling it a home match, it's not that simple with a 50/50 split of fans but hopefully the players will see it that way & have extra belief.
That said I do hope we get the home dressing room, supersticious bunch these sportsman.
COYS. Let's do this.

My 2 year old lad sat with me through the game. Here's some of his quotes... reckon I've done alright so far ;)

' Cmon youuuu Spurs!!!'
'Is Sonny playing?'
'Where's deli Alli? '
'Oh, that's horrible Spurs...'

Can you tell when it comes to Spurs I'm a glass half empty kinda guy haha

I just feel so spoilt supporting this team right now.
Agree two semi finals on the spin a league cup final appearance and 2 x top four finishes in the last couple of years can't be bad just need to get that first trophy over the line.

Will be unusual for the players to have half the ground cheering the opposition though
