I said they were being blissfully ignorant or purposefully slow to understand, purposefully being the keyword, I am not suggesting these posters are by nature stupid, I am suggesting they don't want to see outside of their own opinions or even acknowledge the possibility of bias in the media.

I actually agree with them on some points and I am happy to admit when I am wrong when given evidence to suggest as much.

There is too much evidence pointing towards a clear bias in the media and I can't believe people can sit there and watch a game like yesterday between United and Liverpool and not see it just from the pundits sitting in the studio and the way they reacted to the game.

I don't remember a single one of them calling Liverpool legends or saying that all their players will be off in the summer or how they need to win trophies? Do you?

No, but they are still peddling the:-
United are boring to watch under Moany-o
Pogba doesn't fit in the united team
Lukaku is shit/brilliant.

and for liverpool:-
Van Dijk was to expensive and going to solve nothing
their defence is shit
their midfield is shit.

What would be great realistically is for Us to finish 2nd and Win the FA. Everything else I don't really care to much for.

If they win the FA cup and finish top four would you say a successful season, given budget, size of the club?

I got to say at the start of the season I'd scrubbed it as 'transitional' whilst we play in Wembley, so for me just being in Europe next season would be a great season, let alone winning a cup. It shows you how great our season has been so far that we are getting questioned as such in the greater perspective. :couchpotato:

We simply have to be playing CL in our first season in our brand harry spankers stadium. I didn't realise before but 4th place doesn't have to play any play off matches early next season so anywhere in the top 4 is good enough for me Charlie.

Just popped onto the Arsemania FA cup thread. Very quiet on there, in fact there's just the one post:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have to rate how Eriksen always shows up when Kane is injured. Great player to have. Sickening to watch.

Red Cafe:

Is Alli out like Kane? If so, Tottenham could struggle.

Beatable. If Spurs play like they did in the previous rounds, this time against a very savvy manager then they could fall

Eriksen great goal

Eriksen is brilliant.

Lamela. So simple. 2-0 spurs

Spurs just look a well coached outfit, even with a few changes.

Spurs are such a well drilled team that they hardly seem to miss Kane at all when he's out. Makes me wonder if they should just sell him to us for free instead.:D

Dare I say Sissoko has played very well

----------------------------------------------------------------

The thread went off topic very quickly when Glastonspur posted that Sissoko has been a better buy than Pogba. That didn't go down very well with the natives....

From Rawk -

Two teams that I don't want to win the FA cup - these cheaters and United

Eriksen given far too much time at the edge of the box, nice finish.

Looked a foul just before the goal, but they can't back off like that and expect to get away with it.

It was. Friend is as shite a ref as ever

Would also rather Spurs went through to keep them distracted and to minimise the chance of United fluking another trophy.

Not seen many games but I'm yet to see Son have a bad game. Quality finish in the offside goal.

Eriksen is a machine. Seems to play every single game but never get injured.

We're gonna have to watch Spurs or United lift this aren't we

2-0, Lamela. This is pitiful by Swansea.

Tottenham will probably win this tournament now Man City are out.

They'll not get a better chance than this to win something. Only thing that would stop them is them bottling it themselves.

Lucas Andros Townsend Moura

Glad I switched off at 1-0, another one-sided romp. For all today's FA Cup hype it will be all so dull and predictable as usual.

Kumb

No post on their FA cup thread since January 18th

I really wish someone would permanently revoke that guy's internet access. Complete stain on our fanbase.

Had a read of a Swans forum after they game and they are understandably glum, couple of interesting takes though was that Swansea were shit rather than us being good and they really don't seem to rate Abraham who I thought started off really well but then was pretty much out of the game.
