I'm a man of a certain age, I attend alot of games and those I dont I watch on tv, I consider myself pretty decent at trivia with pop music being one of my stronger suits.

Despite the above it was not until today that I became aware that our Poch chant was meant to be in the melody of the Pilot song 'Its Magic'. (Hope it is after all this)

Whilst I accept there is an element of fuckwittery on my part given the lyric I do think we should be embarrassed at how we as a collective are so poor at holding a tune.

Why no 'Oh, Oh, Oh' to start it off on the right foot for gods sake?
Come on people we are better than this arent we?!
It's almost as annoying as shoehorning 'Luka Modric' in at the end of the chorus to the Steam/Bananarama hit Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye when its obviously too many syllables and therefore upsets the whole momentum.

I'm happy to meet up before home games and have a little practice to fine tune us into the most harmonious fans in the league, I may just canvas in some of the pubs, I'm fairly sure I wont get my head smashed in.

Thought Eriksen was good today and love how some of Sissoko's heavy touches took out their entire midfield. COYS.

Agree. We sing it like a dirge!

We clearly need a new song for our manager

A tune that we all know, easily sung

Nice one Pochy
Nice win Boss
Nice one Pochy
Let’s have another Trophy!

I hope we have the words for all the songs on the big screen at the new stadium.
If the club genuinely wants to help the atmosphere at the new ground then why not?

Got to be honest I think that'd be a bit wank. Up there with the Arsenal announcer teeing up the crowd to shout the surnames of their players

I agree. It will help.

Especially things like the Sol Campbell songs, and “you’re fucking shit”, that sort of thing. People are always getting the words wrong.

I really really hope you're joking but I can't help but think you're serious. We'd be the laughing stock of the whole of football. Whatever next? American-style "Dun dun dun dun dun duuuun....CHARGE!" chants with animated nonsense on the scoreboard every time we go forward? Fuck no. You're not allowed to have ideas any more. This is why we can't have nice things.

Please, no!

First game of this season they were piping the drummer through the tannoy (the one that ends "TOTTENHAM"... obviously... not the one that ends "YIDS").

It was embarrassing and we were soon lauging along with the Chelsea fans as they sang: "what the fucking hell was that." (To bread of heaven).

I'll be honest. I've sang it many times. I've also listed to that song many times.

If you hadn't posted this I might have gone through life, completely oblivious to the former being inspired by the latter.

It's a strange, discordant chant/song... but seems the best we've got to let him know we love him!

Can't wait until the Sol song and Arsenal fan on a String get a run out...

Think we've got a ways to go re the musical chants. Could learn from Hibs fans; the background musical accompaniment definitely helps though...

Surely it should be "he's magic, you know, Mauricio Pochettino" and not "Mauricio Pochettino, he's magic, you know".

It doesn't really flow if every loop you add the "oh oh oh" bit at the beginning.

Should only be on the first loop.
