I see the Chelsea fans got the treatment from the Spanish 'security' forces last night.

Far be it from me to begrudge anyone a chance to hit a Chelsea fan with a baton, but really how do they keep getting away with it? It's been happening for years now.

The Spanish police hasn't reformed at all since the Francoist days. Hit first, police later (if at all) has always been their mantra.

Nothing wrong with a bit of Brit bashing, as you say it's been fair game for years in a few countries.

This is the same bunch of fans who sang "Lovely Old Bill, in Seville" when we played them a few days after the Spanish police had battered our fans.

Karma's a bitch.

I'm not saying it's right, but to be honest if you're going to sing that in the current political climate, while surrounded by baton-wielding and presumably Catalan stewards/security guards then I've got very little sympathy if that baton has an "informal chat" with your noggin. Just basic common sense, especially when everyone knows they're all looking for any excuse to use "necessary force" as we found out in Seville.

you have to question the mentality of people that produce these things, and those that retweet/post them.

I wasn’t sure to be honest, but upon reflection I accept it’s In extremely poor taste so I’ll delete it.

I missed getting all outraged at something, that I probably would've had a smile at, and now I'm outraged I missed a chance to be outraged!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
