It's the home prices which have to come down, not the away prices go up. The cap came in because away attendances were falling with an increasing number of clubs not taking their full allocations - the away fans are crucial to the atmosphere and the product so we had a rare case where capping the prices was good for the fans and ultimately recognised as being good for the league as a whole too.As others have said maybe people want to sit together and have to wait for a later selling phase. But would customers of any other business put up with the following, Spurs supporters in block 107 are paying £65 per match for a seat, away supporters in block 118 opposite with exactly same view are paying £30 per game . Why should travel costs reflect what you pay for a seat, many Spurs supporters travel miles for a home game and don't get a reduced ticket price.
