Probably not, a couple of blocks were completely greyed out so I went onto the ticketing site and they are still showing plenty of blue so guess the interactive isn’t accurate.

Here’s 102 at the mo

I know a group, most of whom are phase 1. There is a phase 3 guy that sits with them so they’re buying a group of tickets in phase 1, leaving a single seat or two in between them in the hope that no one else buys that single seat and the phase 3 bloke can get that one. It’s not a bad idea really. Not saying that’s what happened in your pic but it’s a possibility even though it’s highly risky for that single person.

I guess the club did prepare for such occasions and are not allowing single seats

So out of the 5,000 eligible to buy today, how many seem to have done so? Looks like they've sold the square root of sod all in the north, maybe 25% tops of the east and west lower, next to nothing in the uppers, and a couple of blocks worth in the south?

I think a lot of phase 1 members are having to wait till later phases for friends and family etc. So numbers sold probably aren't very accurate yet.

That's going to be a problem for the club though - if the prices are too high and putting people off they're not going to have the faintest idea until the later phases.

Although maybe actually they will? I'm sure they could for instance see how many people in phase 1 don't have anyone in later phases on their network, and look at what proportion of them have bought seats.

For those of you booking groups, do you need to have "Assign" permissions or "Manage" permissions to reserve the seats and pay the deposits?

I emailed the club to make sure and they said I need "Manage" but everywhere in the literature it just says about assign, not manage

It’s the same as booking away/ cup tickets. You can assign to anyone in your network as long as their phase is open. Make sure your network is set up before your phase opens.

Makes sense but I suspect some fans will throw their toys out their prams who are selfish
You mean the fans wedging out a grand or more? You a season ticket holder? Surely if you're paying such an amount of money - with an increase - then it's not unreasonable to dislike that fact that might not get get what you paid for?

It's the home prices which have to come down, not the away prices go up. The cap came in because away attendances were falling with an increasing number of clubs not taking their full allocations - the away fans are crucial to the atmosphere and the product so we had a rare case where capping the prices was good for the fans and ultimately recognised as being good for the league as a whole too.

Away fans are not essential, Monaco proved that at Wembley last season, minimal support yet still won.

Essential to the "product" i.e. generating an atmosphere which is appealing to the TV viewers in Asia etc, not to the result necessarily. If you damage the atmosphere by reducing the number of away fans you can end up damaging the value of the TV rights which is a lot more valuable than charging £30 rather than £50 for a ticket.

Phases 3 and 4 are going to be a huge scramble because that's where a lot of the guys in Phase 1 will join in with others and be blocking groups. I was surprised how few went today.

They will sell out - remember many thousands on the waiting list will still take tickets if current people don't want theirs

The highest sales today are the most expensive seats plus the centre of the South Stand. Very few of the cheapest tickets have gone

Everyone in the top ~40k or so of the waiting list now was offered a season ticket last year and said no. I can't imagine many of them will want one now it costs 40% or so more.
