You could be right but I imagine they're not short of companies queueing up to sponsor EPL.
Sky might just feel its not worth the hassle though, he's already had his contract cancelled with some Danish sports channel over it.

To be honest given Denmark's tiny population the amount of subscribers to said channel probably doesn't register on Sky's radar so I doubt they give a shit. It'd be like BBC Radio Lincoln refusing to play any of Jay-Z's songs or something.

Given that the analysis on MNF is possible the only thing that Sky have going for them over BT etc. (albeit mostly down to Neville) I'm fairly sure they'll be pretty keen to keep him on. Once next season rolls around this whole thing will be forgotten I'm sure.

Liverpool always have a great player it seems. Soon as Rush lost it Fowler came along, when his injuries took their toll then Owen steps up, fast forward a few years later they get Torres who was pretty sensational for a season or two until he got injured, then Suarez comes along and now Salah. It's pretty difficult to say who was the best out of them all.

For consistency I'd have De Bruyne as player of the season, whereas Salah has got better as he's gone along

Pure click bait nothing else.

To be fair, it's not just the press though is it. Back in December his national head coach told ON Sport TV in Egypt: “I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah, but let’s not rush things,”

Yeah I realise that mate however the press are only rehashing the story because he's being talked about after his 4 goals at the weekend, it's classic click bait tactics designed to generate revenue.

Every International break when theres fk all football on and column inches that still need filling the press spew out outer bollox like this.

Anyone hear the utter fkin nonsense TS put in an actual news bulletin yesterday? Apparently some group, who or what I've no idea, believe Spurs COULD make more money than Barcelona selling Messi IF.... they sold Kane and Alli... who combined cost £5m!!!!
I shit you not that fkin nonsense was a news story.
I flew into a rage and turned the radio off.

The press have always written stories about what they think people would be interested in reading about. Just with sports journalism it doesn't have to be real.

Although saying that i would be suprised if real etc... didn't want kane or salah. They are fantastic players and stars of the prem.

Hold on, I thought it was only our players that the press are constantly linking away to other teams?

I was listening to our pal Jim yesturday (Ye I don't know why either) and it made me laugh when in all certainty he said that salah would stay and Liverpool.

The thing that the dippers are deluding themselves over is the notion Salah has what Kane has, which is a loyalty to the club and a vested interested in winning trophies with the club he's at. I'm not saying Kane will ever be a Ledley King, but I am saying that there is far more choice of a Salah turning his back on the dippers than there is a Kane turning his back on us. I think if Salah carries this form into next season then at the end of it he'll be at somewhere like Madrid.

Yeah he probably doesn't want death threats.
What made me laugh was Mickey Gray saying Liverpool aren't a selling club anymore.
They sold one of their best players just two months ago you fucking muppet.
Fact is we are all selling clubs, if the player wants out and the moneys right.

I'd like him to stay at liverpool (as long as we finish above them) i don't like the prems best players being hoovered up by real and barca.

I actively encourage them to buy our rivals best players, just don't like them coming near ours.

Real, Barcelona and PSG looking at Salah for 200m!

I don't think any of them would choose to pay that much, but it's more likely to be the sort of price tag Liverpool would put on him, based on what they got for Coutinho, and the length of Salah's contract.
