Can we not buy another AM? Please? We have Eriksen, Dele, Son, Lamela, and Lucas already. We're buying Sessegnon. That already blocks alot of opportunities for the academy players. Lets not overkill it. No to Malcom, Zaha or any other AM we can potentially buy. We need a striker and the fact that so many on here are willing to forgo buying another striker because Janssen and Llorente havent been successful is absolutely nuts. Reckless even.

As for Shaw, why? We have Rose and Davies. If Rose wants to go then fine. But Mourinho will be asking for an absurd price so no.

The only other positions besides striker we may need to address are CM, CB(if Toby leaves) and GK. Just to build depth. But I'd rather give the opportunities to some of the academy players first in the pre season to see if they are up for it and we can save the money. If a real top, top player(at any position) comes along that you just cant say no to, then of course all bets are off.

Difficult to describe him, because I can't think of anyone similar. But he's the complete forward. Does well every offensive aspect of the game. Can score with his right, left, headers, penalties, can assist, can play counterattack, can play as a playmaker. He does everything well. 99% he will go to the World Cup with Higuain and Aguero, leaving players like Icardi out.
He did this yesterday

I came across Martinez through the FIFA world, but through that I tried to watch more highlights of games to see what the fuss was about. This guy is going to be the next guy in he Aguero/Higuain/Icardi bracket, he is a fantastic player! Seems as though he is off to Inter, which could be a good place for his development, but if he is going to warm the bench for Icardi I don't see how it is feasible? Same if he came here to warm the bench for Kane to be honest...

Attribute wise though he is quick, strong, skilful and lethal in front of goal, wherever he goes he will be a fantastic player! One to watch for sure!

Reckon there’s been one or two decent players come out the Dutch league before Janssen lol

Assuming 2 outgoings, I would be happy with same number (and hopefully same quality and/or potential) in plus one cm. Ideally, a player with the combined attributes of Pirlo and Kante. Shouldn't be too difficult to find....

Still amazes me that pro clubs go out and buy half a dozen or more in one window and then wonder why it all goes shit shaped. See us, Liverpool, and Everton. Same lesson each time. No learning whatsoever. Anyone remember Santini's first game against Liverpool in 2004? Think we had 8 or 9 on debut. Different times.

People seen much of Tarkowski ? Always fall asleep in Burnley games lol. But can’t argue with defensive record only conceded one more than us. And he definitely has a presence you’d want from a dominant CB. Might be too unglamorous for some though. Be interesting to see how he gets on this week. If does well you can add another £10m.

I think Burnley's good defence is due to their system than stand out players. Check out videos by TIFO on youtube, they did one on Keane's stats before he moved to Everton; stats-wise Ben Mee actually out performed him last season but Keane was more eye catching and so got the move. It seems Tarkowski is getting the same attention now.

If we were to go for a CB I'd rather steer clear of the PL, price is going to be too high. Better yet, keep Foyth in reserve with Dier able to drop in as an emergency.

thfc are tracking Porto fullback Ricardo Pereira 24 who has little over a year left on his current deal, according to A Bola.

Should be looking at the other full back. Forget his name but he has a zillion assists this season. No idea if he can defend though :)

For technical players it's a good hunting ground, but they have to overcome the difference in pace between the leagues. Also teams in the Dutch league (and yes, I'm aware of the origins of 75% of our centre backs...) by and large are very soft defensively. So buying strikers from there you really do have to do your homework.
