You got to rememeber though that UTD had a backlash with the Glazier take-over, alot of core support left then... I wouldn't put it all down to prices.

FC United of Manchester get roughtly 1.5k - 3k fans at their games now. I bet most of those used to attend OT pre-Glazer.

Not sure how up to date the roof ones are though. The outside are today.

They were at Cheltenham last week. Pretty quick and certainly helped with the speed (although if you've still got a mong who can't count cash/change then it's not going to be much quicker).
I believe they've talked about the stadium being cashless - contactless card or money loaded onto your membership card only.

A lot of the internal fit out has been completed already, I spoke with someone who said the restaurants for example were finished down to even the cutlery being in situ.

Anyone seen these before? Reddit appears to think this is how the bar will work at the new stadium

They've had something like those at Wembley this season. Worked horribly.

Good fun when someone managed to poke the bottom out though.

The roof is now at its full height guys!!!:)
I presume it will take a couple days to connect up fully and give an inspection too. But afterwards it will be onto the next aspect of the roof which will be the top support beam (i think) that the roof cassettes will then go onto.

Taking shape now....the bowl looks pretty epic now. The front entrance is taking shape glazing wise and the podium is not far off being fully concreted.

There will be "nodes" at roughly 4-6m centres along the wires. Each node has four spigots on it, each cassette has tabs or holes in it and a corner of a cassette will slot on to a spigot (ie each node will have four corners of four cassettes mounted on it). Once the cassettes are laid out, or in fact whilst they're being laid out a single ply membrane will be laid across them with a lose section linking up to the polycarbonate section to take in to account the movement. Deflection of the roof will be +/- 4m (2m in each direction) in heavy winds.

Pics taken at 5pm today.

Our stadium launch party is this Friday. Unfortunately I'll be unable to attend due to work commitments, however I’ll update with some info from the evening over the weekend.
