This is what makes me happy about being on my own, I can just feed of scraps and don't have to look for more than one seat next to each other.

That's my only hope of getting a half decent seat when my window opens.
I’m amazed at the number of singles, thought they were going to adjust that?

Thought this too. Then again as it goes on it'll be more and more difficult for them to do this and singles will start to appear all over the place.

Do you go to games on your own? I went once on my own and it was a bit odd but may have to consider it at the new place due to others not renewing and being able to get a ST myself if I choose to

If that were true why was the west stand the quietest at WHL and Park Lane the loudest
Also at Wembley, I don’t hear much noise from club Wembley

Don’t hear about Liverpool’s famous corporate stand atmosphere being better than the Kop either
The west stand suffered at WHL by having too few rows before the boxes I think. Not enough people to make a lot of noise.

My brother moved away and my mate who also came had kids and had to give his up for financial reasons.
I more or less got to know the two lads in front of me, and a fella on one side who was also on his own, and by about 3-4 games into the season they were inviting me down the boozer to meet them before games.
You'll soon make friends, as long as you're not unpleasant company lol.

Nothing odd about going on your own. I chose not to wait for the other 5 in my group as they were in phase 4. We're in two different sections at Wembley now. I'll just see them when we go away like we do now.

The West Lower, possibly. A very different stand to the old West Stand lower

In reality the majority of West Stand Upper season ticket holders were older who had a few quid (putting it mildly) and wanted a great view of the game

If you kept renewing in the West Upper you put the view way way above any atmosphere whatsoever

That stand was built entirely for the view and extra comfort, facilities. If you wanted to make some noise and be part of the atmosphere you had to move to the South or East stands

I don't know about anyone else but the wait is absolute agony.

Having to just sit here helplessly and watch loads of people casually go through and book their perfect seat. Nothing I can do but watch the seats I want slowly disappear knowing that when it's my turn it will be a case of what's left, not what I want.

I've dreamed about the being in the south but don't think there will be any left in phase 6. It's especially difficult as i'm with a group and we want 6 together.

It's not a complaint about phasing, as it needs to be done, but it's absolutely torturous.

You’ll be fine, there’s plenty of seats available and have a sneaky feeling lots of people won’t renew due to pricing

Also think lots are thinking of going into the Paxton to be nearer the away supporters

Would have been good imo to keep the away supporters in the South/West Corner somehow. Much better for the atmosphere

When I first got my ST in 1999 I had no choice but to be on my own if I wanted to go. My daughter went to uni and couldn’t come with me anymore. You sit next to the same people every game and surprising how quick you are friends. We have been to semi finals and finals together and now as we move into the new stadium we are getting seats together,

Surly they will adjust singles at the end, can’t do it after every phase. And then open it up again. Or maybe will do it halfway through.

This whole saga is getting a bit pathetic now, even the stadium seating map sent out to all ST's is incorrect. Just queried with the ticket office about block 402, according to the printed map no 1882 seats in block 402 , according to the interactive map rows 50 to 58 are 1882 seats, ticket office confirmed interactive map is the correct map which means there are also 1882 seats in blocks 502 and 529 which are not shown on the printed map. Spurs are pathetic, seriously considering just taking the chance on getting a ticket for single games, all the big games are on Sky or BT and those that are not you can find on Russian internet channels as long as you don't mind being offered Russian brides. Does anybody really want the atmosphere of a half empty ground at the start of the 2nd half while everybody is at the 60 food outlets stuffing themselves and watching the game on 1800 HD TV's

I’ve sat in the West Stand upper on 2 or 3 occasions and not sure I was to popular by the end of the game. The 1st time was the funniest 2-0 win v Leeds in Cup replay 1999 I think. I was sat directly behind the directors box, and gave it my all:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Every game, have done for years. I'm quite chatty though so I usually manage to talk to people I'm around.

Oh shit I'm one of those annoying weirdos aren't I? :(

I've just checked the details on it and its a 3.7% admin fee, which on a 1k ticket only works out about 40 quid which is not unreasonable really.

Saying that I've just realised you only need to pay 50 quid to reserve your seat during your phase, the rest doesn't need paying until after the last sales phase which starts on April 16th, I should be ok by then so don't think I'll need to pay it off monthly, although its nice to have that as an option after looking into it.
Have a look for a 0% on purchases credit card. There's some good deals around if you have a decent credit score.
