If you don't really know what's going on then it's pretty boring, same goes for any sport though to be honest. You need to have at least some basic understanding of all the intricacies and strategies to appreciate what's happening. Much like going to see a film in a language you don't understand with no subtitles. It might be the best film ever but for you it'll be boring as hell because you can't follow what's going on.

Fair point but I think it was the atmosphere and mad amount of time outs that diddnt help.

West Ham in £6m legal row with London Stadium owners
Really is scandalous what's going on over there.

"News of the legal wrangle comes before a meeting on Monday between West Ham's vice-chairman Karren Brady and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan over the future of the stadium and its financial viability - it is currently set to lose £140m over the next 10 years."

Assuming they finish in the bottom 3 they'll still get £100m in TV money alone while the stadium loses money hand over fist.

From the same article

A senior West Ham source said: "We have bought a new house but it doesn't feel like a home yet because we can't get all our stuff in it and get it the way we want it. Also, if you buy a house and agree a price, you don't expect to start getting charged more once you have moved in."

:banghead:

You haven’t bought anything you muppets, you rent it and as such it is the landlords final decision on how you decorate it-especially if you want them to pay for it.

Evict them!!

They will be made homeless and will have to beg Millwall or Orient for a favour. They could then rent out their stadium at a much higher fee and use the proceeds to move to the London stadium before selling off their stadium and getting it demolished and make West Ham homeless again. At which stage, back to London Stadium for an increased tent and Orient/Millwall branding in the stadium.

If Carlsberg did business deals......

Funnily enough, I've just spent the last hour explaining to my brother the trials and tribulations of WHFC

He was crying with laughter by the end

I think the highlight was David Sullivan telling the whole world that he had a few quid in his pocket and was looking to by a striker. Not exactly the best bargaining position to start with.

Lol, most of their players play like they're on strike anyway [except when they play us:shifty:}. They might as well stand around a burning dustbin...although the natives haven't quite gone that far yet to give them one.

They are playing in a friendly tonight. Its virtually their full strength team. They literally have no international players!

To be fair, James Collins picked up 51 caps for Wales, but retired from international football in late 2017.

With Fonte sold and Reid injured, he's now pretty much West Ham's only fit Centre Back, so it's good news for them that he hasn't gone away on international duty to pick up a knock before what is probably their most critical game of the season against Southampton.

So, as long as Moyes doesn't play him in tonight's pointless friendly, he should be fine. Hang on. Is that the sound of a hamstring twanging down Dagenham way that I hear?

From KUMB on their match thread

Keep it tight for the first 80 minutes then try and nick it at the end. Well happy if we can get a draw.

We're playing a charity match and we've picked up an injury to one of our only two fit CBs.

Couldn't make this up, really.
