Is it just me who doesn't like the look of the south stand?

With 17,500 screaming yids in there it will be fantastic, but it seems out of place with the rest of the stadium. The other three sides are all joined and make it an enclosed arena, but then there is a 'bolted-on' bit at one end. There are spaces at the top of each side of the seating where there are none on the other three sides, and the 'rake' of the stand seems shallower than the others.

I realise I'm probably nit-picking as the new Lane will be amazing. Perhaps it had to be like that because of the condensed build schedule between demolishing the Lane and the projected completion before next season; it just seems a little disappointing to me that one end is out of character with the rest of it.

I think, as many have already said before, that I like the fact the south stand is a bit different, it means the stadium is not just a standard bowl has a bit of an individual feel to it. It will be our home and not just a carbon copy of some many other stadiums.

I was disappointed a little when the south stand's shape was completed as there was more 'air gaps' to the side than I was anticipating. However, with the big screen frames now in place either side you can see it will appear a a lot more closed than on first sight, and that the roof will also contribute to making it more enclosed. The South stand is a really unique feature that will help create a fantastic atmosphere that is not evident at other large bowl, new build stadiums. Plus the 'trees inside the glass atrium' will be an awesome site as you approach the stadium.

How can anyone not like the south stand. As said I like the fact it is added on ,so it’s not just a uniform bowl. It will be a stand every single other fan will be jealous of. It’s 4m from the pitch. Will be spoken about like the yelllow wall. 1/3 bigger than Liverpool kop. Will be the most talked about stand in British football it’s a monster.

I think the rake of the south stand is actually going to be steeper than all the other stands IIRC, It's going to be hitting the legal maximum of 35°. I don't think the renders so far are doing it justice.

It’ll be never spoken like the yellow wall.

And you know this how ? Same seating capacity. It actually reminds me of those black and white photos you see of old mass terraces.i actually love the way it curves.

Yes. One reason the atmosphere won’t be half what Dortmund’s is.

I not sure if this has been touched on but does anyone know who will be brewing the beer in the microbrewery?

Is it a in house job or will they be getting a local microbrewery in?
