Okay with 7 (Liverpool 6) games left. Out of Tottenham, Chelski and Liverpool who has the easiest run. In?

I would say we have the hardest having to play City and Chelski. We both have FA cup in there also.

Chelski I woulda say have the easiest only having to play one top 8 club, and that is us and we haven’t one there for years and play without our talisman striker. Like us they do also have FA cup games.

Liverpool although don’t have FA cup do have CL! There run in is not bad although they do have City and a tricky away derby at Everton. Also they have already played one more gave than both of us but are 2 points ahead!

Weighing it all up I think it will be close, on paper anyway. I think we definitely have the hardest games of the three so tough to catch Liverpool. But can we hang on to 4th, I know it’s a big game, but Chelski away is even bigger and k ow becomes a real 6 pointer! Even we can even get a draw we could seal 4th, but loose it and I would be worried with our run in vs theirs?

Agreed. We have the hardest run in but Chelsea isn't a team in harmony. Conte is certain to leave and they've had some really awful results against the lower-tier teams this season.

I think we have it easier but it come at the expense of the FA Cup. I’d rather be us facing Chelsea than Chelsea facing us. Even with our terrible record at the Bridge. And the lads will be hurting after the City defeat. I expect a draw at the very least.

There is a giant clock ticking somewhere in the ether, counting how long before somebody starts a thread asking, this season, would you prefer top 4 or FAC. Even though there are only 2 FAC games and we can perfectly well do both.

Theres not much point in looking at the next 2-3 games as opposition form will ultimately dictate how difficult the match will be

If Man City have the title won that game might be easier then playing a relegation team who need the points

If we beat Chelsea next week that will open up an 8point gap to them in 5th which would be massive with what 7 games left(?), I think we can turn them over.

With our advantage in goal difference Chelsea need to take six points more than us in the next eight games, in the last eight games we have dropped four points.
It is not wide of the mark to suggest that Chelsea will need to win every one of their last eight games to stand a chance of fourth.

Not sure about easiest run-in, pressure mounts as games remaining become fewer.

Let's get Kane back firing, keep everyone else fit and focused and see where that take's us.

Monumental game next weekend, I'd like to think that if Spurs win, 8 points ahead of Chelsea would see us alright and out of reach. Not mathematically, but I would suggest we'd get the job done.

Failure to finish top 4...

"Well yeah, it was always going to be hard playing at Wembley for a season."

An excuse I prepared earlier. Just in case. ;)

Tbh if city win title against united and then have CL with Liverpool. You probably couldn’t pick a better time to play them.

A valid excuse cost us a good six points at least two to Chelsea not that you'll need to use it.

I'd probably put ours as slightly worse than Chelsea's, however the 5 point advantage now gives us the edge. However things always get a bit mad at the end of the season. For example, Leicester is a tough game, but last day of the season maybe they are on holiday mode like last year, or conversely will Spurs/Chelsea players be playing within themselves with a Cup Final looming?

Not to mention other factors like the time of games. I'd say our Palace game being moved from Monday night to Sunday lunchtime was a handy boost, as they seem more dangerous under the lights. I'd say the same probably applies to the Brighton and WBA games.

Even if we lose to Chelsea next game it's still in our hands, win and it's ours to throw away.

Chelsea's last three games are tough. Liverpool at home and away at Swansea and Newcastle - both of whom will probably need points in their fight against relegation. I really hope Swansea are not quite safe by the time Chelsea come calling as they will give them a hell of a fight in Wales.

..counting down how long before we beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

It's got to be sometime, so why not make it in 9 days time?
