You'd have an easier time doing calculating quantum physics than trying to decipher that line up.

Southgate is not exactly inspiring any confidence in my England to win the WC bet with stuff like this

Why on earth would you place such a bet? Have you not seen is play at international tournaments before?

The only way England have any chance of going far into the tournament would be to build a solid team and rely on Kane. No idea why Southgate wouldn't use every friendly to build continuity and stability on pitch by selecting what he considers pretty much his first team. This game in particular is completely pointless now in terms of preparation.

If you're going to play a 3 why not play the 3 who are going to start the WC so they build some sort of understanding. I can understand rotating attacking players for the two games but to have no clue really who's going to be your combination of CBs this close to a World Cup is embarrassingly poor.

Fuck me Walker and Trippier in the same team with Ox Henderson CM2. What the fuck is Southgate doing?

Almost Sherwood levels of team selection insanity.

Agreed.

Choose 2 keepers out of the four, choose your back 4 and your midfield, and maybe rotate the forward players a little with Kane injured.

I take It's like this

Pickford
Walker . Stones . Gomez
Trippier . Chamberlain . Henderson . Rose
Lingard . Sterling
Rashford

I agree with you that often the international team are weaker than the club you play for.

West Ham have no internationals...

LMFAO!!!
Just for you O’Zio...

International teams are weaker than the team you play for...

How weak do you need to be to have no internationals?

Yes I know Hart is in the fold, but I don’t think too many regard him as an international really.

Having Walker doing the defensive work letting Trippier stay up and whip crosses in could make some sense if Kane was playing but obviously it's Rashford so it's completely pointless

Or maybe?

Pickford
Walker Gomez Stones Trippier
Chamberlain Rose Henderson
Sterling Rashford Lingard.

Could it be this instead?
