If we signed bale we would get 20+ goals per season from him. Along with Kane and the rest of our forward line goal tally. It would be enough for a genuine title push

If bale stayed injury free, and still has his pace yes.

No thanks .. When players leave because we aren't enough for them fair play. But we aren't that small a club that they can return when they have done what they have done and it suits them to return

He won three Champions Leagues. It was a very good move for him. He would never have done that here. So personally I’d be happy if he wanted to return to us as he loved the club rather than feeling slighted.

Can't believe people are talking they would rather have Sess than Bale.

Yeh ok.

Uhhhhhhmmmm.

Would they cost roughly the same?

So then its a choice between a player who could be as good as Bale was for the next 15 years or a player who might be as good as he was for the next 5, i know which is a safer bet, neither is more likely than the other.

Sessegnon is incredibly raw, and is still hit and miss in the championship.

Bale is genuinely world class and has won the champions league 3 times.

Baffling that people would rather take Sessegnon, Bale still has at least 4+ years left at the top level barring any injury.

And if there weren't serious doubts about his condition it would be clear cut but as it is both are gambles but one is a gamble with a potentially much longer payoff.

I mean, Sessegnon clearly has a bright future but you dont reject Bale who is already world class

Im happy your happy for him.... But read carefully what i posted . I have no problem with players leaving for whatever reasons and Bale has been a success at Real.
My own problem is not to bring players back who are no longer wanted and are on the way down injury prone and on silly money
I would.. If possible. Invest in the likes of Pulisic from Dortmund or Sessegnon excuse the spelling..
Young Hungary players , don't think Bale would be value for money

Bringing Bale back is no brainer if he's willing. He's a winner who would bring so much experience to the squad.

Bale would presumably have to start whenever available which would mean Son relegated to the bench. No thanks. That's not how we should treat our players.

I love the idea of Bale returning, but no amount of rotation could keep him and the current set of attackers happy (excluding Kane and Eriksen who are nailed on first team every game). Yes, he’s better than all of them, but he’s 29 this summer and has missed a lot of football through injury.

We could do a City and play a midfield 3 which contains 2 tens, but that would be an (admittedly exciting) huge change in approach.

Dier
Dele Eriksen
Bale __________ Son
Kane

Llorente
Moura _________ Lamela
Dembele Winks

Absolutely, I wasn't criticising his conditioning in the slightest as he clearly trains very hard. He just looks far more built for power these days than for spending 90 minutes chasing up and down the pitch. Son on the other hand has the physique of a racing snake, so has little problem in this respect

As I have put in here before this is one of the reasons why bale is unhappy his own team think he has gained to much weight with muscle and the lactic acid causes fatigue in his muscles etc. Can’t really remember what I was told.

Some of his camp actually think it’s what has caused his injuries. He’s had a bit of a falling out with a few of the staff at Madrid. Zidane is fuming at that hat trick.

For what it’s worth he’s now unhappy at real. That’s the first time I have been told that as well I normally here he’s just waiting to get back to fitness or he’s working hard confident he will be back in the team soon. He needs to be loved to be at his best for me the best place for that is here although I have a sad feeling he’s going to end up at one of our blue or red rivals.

He’s also investing so much in wales at the moment commercially. Own golf course, restaurants there’s one to come in London later this year as well.

For what it’s worth I would swap Toby for him

lol @ all the Football Manager fans not wanting players over the age of 24.

Bale's return would be a massive statement of intent - depends how money driven he is at this stage of his career with Manure sniffing around paying stupid money.

It would be an amazing statement to bring Bale back, and yeah, Toby could used in the deal. We could put the money we were willing to offer Toby, towards the wages Bale would want. It would be an incredible signing going in to the new stadium. Surely no one could even doubt that?

Using Toby in the deal would probably be the only way we’d get Bale back, they probably still owe us money for him
