Just sorting myself out to set out to the game, an FA cup semi final should feel like a big day out but this year it feels like just another trek to wembley, not feeling the buzz like I should but hopefully after a few jars at baker street I'll feel more like it.

Who’s the referee? Anthony Taylor will be in the middle for his fourth United game of the current campaign, last taking charge of the Reds in the 3-0 win over Stoke in January. Taylor was also in charge of the 2-1 win against West Brom in December and 1-0 defeat to Chelsea back in November. The Cheshire whistler will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, while Kevin Friend will be the fourth official. This game will also have the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in operation, with Andre Marriner taking on the role and Andy Halliday assisting him.

Doesn’t matter who the referee is they are all as shit as each other. Also they Generally all bend over to make sure they don’t upset Mourinho in these big games

I just hope it's not another regrettable day for VAR....

True, I still think that Jon Moss is a level below the rest though.

All my old Spurs instincts are kicking in. Not feeling great about today, not feeling great about Chelsea in the league. This shit dies hard after all these years.

I think its ridiculous that a professional referee can be allowed to be so unfit and out of shape as Jon Moss.

Not even due to our form or the way we're playing rather but I developed a bad feeling about this game. The weird thing is, if it makes sense is that it's not this United team that I fear at this stage, it's any Mourinho team.

Got to have a fast start. An opening 20 minutes or even 5 minutes like last weekend and we might as well pack up and go home.

I think the pressure might be off us a little bit actually which might help us with that.

I should of thought that the fact we have lost 7 semis in a row should be motivation enough.

As for arguments that Poch’s lack of enthusiasm affecting the squad, all the quotes I’ve seen from the players have suggested to me that they are desperate to win this, regardless of Poch’s attitude. I’m still not confident but not because the players will be apathetic.
