I’m really not buying he’s not fit. There’s absolutely no way he would risk his World Cup if he thought there was any issue with his ankle at all. He’s now played x4 90 minutes and should be up to speed imo. There is no question his form has dropped off but I really don’t think it’s a fitness issue. He hasn’t scored more than 1 goal in a game for 16 appearances which I reckon at a guess must be the longest in his spurs career. No idea what’s going on with him but hopefully he livens up last 4 games.

Players goes in and out of form. It happens. Unfortunately for Harry he had his dip at a pivotal time of the season. If Harry played like this in November most wouldn't think too much about it.

Harry is unplayable when in form and naturally Pochettino, like any manager would do with their talisman player, chose to play him and hope he regains his form. Let's not kid ourselves: if Messi or Ronaldo plays under par in a couple of matches they will still play in cup semifinal.

It really is quite strange just how off Harry has been since his return

All the more so because he was only out injured for a couple of weeks. Wasn’t as if he’s returned after a couple of months which would take ages for him to get his match fitness back

You would have thought his sharpness would have returned by now so maybe coming back too early from his latest ankle injury has actually set him back even more than taking an extra week or two to return

In hindsight if Poch had know just how poor Harry has been since his return I’m sure he wouldn’t have played him because when he’s on the team sheet our game relies on him so much

Chairman of the PFA the latest person to take a dig at him tonight. :grumpy:

I can understand the shit he gets from opposing fans. God knows they’ve nothing else on him.

But the rubbish coming from the media, other professionals is baffling. He’d be well within his right to tell Southgate to jog on next month.

Alli and Dier, too.

I'm done with England. The treatment of Kane is completely shameful. The majority of these morons think they are jokes when in reality it's a sly dig at the country's best player.

I swear Kane's had more digs about this than Carragher had for spitting.

Incredibly unprofessional from the PFA chair and the FA account the other day. Leave the 'banter' to LadBible types. It's not for governing bodies.

In hindsight we should have learned from the Chelsea and City performances and not started him. He's looked awful since he's come back.

Some people have weirdly short memories. Many in this thread have now mentioned that he's been bad since the turn of the year. I swear, if he doesn't score against Watford, I reckon people will start saying that actually, he hasn't been himself since the 2015 NLD.

Salah wins PFA player of the year and all I can see on twitter are Liverpool fans complaining that Kane was even eligible for young player of the year (which he didn't even win).

I know it's twitter but seriously fuck off Liverpool.

I loath Chelsea and every single thing about them but if Liverpool were caught and came 5th I would just piss myself.

I'm assuming we don't balls things up in the next 4 games ourselves of course.

He is going through a dip in form - he has had a spell like this every year - he always comes out the other side and he will this time also.
