Where’s the suggestion of Vinny coming back and being in our plans come from? Can’t see it personally, don’t think the Turkish league is where we’d send anyone for a development loan, dire football, that’s a shop window loan if I’ve ever seen one.

If we're going to keep either Janssen or Llorente as a backup then i'd rather have Vincent. Even if he wasn't scoring at times he did at least contribute, winning headers and free kicks etc.

If nothing else, I enjoyed watching him on the pitch more.

Maybe Poch might want to have another go at improving him. He's young enough. He could turn him into the $20m dollar man.

"We can rebuild him"

saw a report recently quoting him as not averse to another year at Fenerbahce. He was hurt a good chunk of last season so really a wasted year.

Fenerbache paid an €8m loan fee last year i believe, another year at the same and we will almost get our money back.

Corrected, we received €5m

Why would Ajax want to develop our players for us? Edwards hasn't shown any indication that he would light up the Eredivisie. They would never take him on a loan.

Never stop amaze me how many of our supporters believe we could just throw 2 or 3 youth prospect at other clubs and that somehow will work.

And in this spesific instance with Ajax its even more farfetched considering their entire foundation is built on developing their own players and selling them at some point. Its Ajax ffs, not Swindon!

Probably because of this?

We shouldn’t be keeping either of them

It does, and there have been multiple references to Ajax interest in the past, both loan and transfer

The Dutch giants have previously shown interest in taking the teenager on loan and are keeping close tabs on his situation.

Tottenham are reluctant to let the teenager go, having signed him up to a new deal until 2020 last summer, but are expected to allow him move on if they are offered a suitable deal,
potentially including a buy-back option and sell-on clause.

It absolutely doesn't, but I'm not going to argue this further in a thread about another player. My point stands, a team like Ajax will never have interest in developing a player for us as part of a deal.
