We know Poch likes strong, powerful, units in midfield and Berge is bigger and stronger than Fellaini.

But from those clips, unlike Fellaini, Berge looks like he may have some actual footballing ability too.

Surely we can just give matches to Onomah? Not sure what the point of signings like this are. Promote the youth properly or get in real quality. This guy isn't going to reach his potential for 3-4 years if he does get there. We need guys who have already proved themselves at a good level.

Different position and the guy is a full international.

Also, he looks really slow. Might be good on the ball but not a lot of pace about him

Was thinking the same. Plenty of time on the ball in those clips which he may not get in the PL.
Looks like his body needs to grow into his legs.

In fairness, if signing Grealish and Berge for relatively cheap fees allows us to spend heavier on Martial or another high profile forward then I think most of us would be happy with that.

He’s 20 so we wouldn’t need to name him in either PL OR CL squads. Therefore no barring on foreign numbers etc

I have seen him play a few times on the Norwegian NT. He really is a good footballer. Strong as a fjelltroll and similar as Dembele on the ball. Also, just 20 years! I think most of you will be pleasantly surprised.

With Levy in charge of Tranfers we don't get surprised anymore.

He runs 40m in 4,6 seconds, so he is actually very fast. He was nr.1 in numerous sprint and agility tests for Genk last year.

10m: 1,445 sec
20m: 2,577 sec
40m: 4,669 sec

He is also the player Lars Lagerbeck, Norways NT manager, is building his team around which is quite remarkable when he is only 20y.

Maybe it’s because Onomah isn’t very good

Honestly no problem with him and Grealish coming in but not if they’re out major signings as we move into our new stadium and another season of champions league.

Martial + berge and grealish would work.
