I’ve always been quietly confident we will get some deals done before the window closes, but I’m actually starting to believe that we will sign literally nobody.
I think at this point we should just go for it, see if we can get through the window with no incomings - it'd be like shooting the moon in Hearts.

Going to miss my late night deadline day party tomorrow, Normally have TV to myself, a few beers and some foxes cookies. Is not quite the same with 5PM deadline. Can't see us not getting anyone or Manager will be pissed. Martial is best case scenario I think with Toby going out

Surely his value is only what people are prepared to pay for him?
Absolutely, but imagine an scenario where we don't let him go because Yanited won't let us have Martial. If they were prepared to pay, say, £50 to £60 million for him then not letting him go now rather than in 12 months would be very costly.

I’d be highly disappointed - we’d be left way short in certain areas.

Then that’s our call. And let’s be honest, not a Levy call.

I agree, but we put way too much on transfers and signings and the drama of the window, at the end of the day, even if we make no signings, we'll still have one of the best, young, exciting teams in the league, full of players we (mostly) love.

I’m all for tradition so I’m still going to watch it in my pants with a beer and probably a tub of ice cream. Screw what people at work think.

Thanks to the ITK for trying to keep us informed of all the twists and turns of this last 48hours

Agree. Martial looks to be the half / quarter likely option out there now. Grealish seemingly stalled, hope it wasn’t from our end. Kovacic going to Chelsea, urkkkk. We darent even guess what mystery bag options could be.
I can’t imagine what Tottenham Towers is like right now. I just hope there is still a plan.

No, we won't.
We're not signing anybody and I always thought that was quite likely at the start of the window. We just don't have the funds.
If we ain't gonna sign anybody, then I don't want us to sell anyone either.

If you’re itk you should probably talk to one of the mods first

Still 23hrs remaining, so still hoping that we can make a few deals to improve the squad.

However, I agree with what others on here have said - whether we manage to sign Grealish or not, it is ridiculous that our transfer window appears to hinge on our ability to get a young, relatively unproven player from a Championship team.

Would love to know what Poch, Eriksen and Alli really think about the way this has been handled by the club.

Surely we'll need to sell somebody or else we'll be in the same situation in January.... IE needing to sell before we buy

But would signing Martial improve our squad more than the loss of Toby at CB and not having time to replace him. Obviously it’s not that straightforward as what Toby has done to Poch in the past may be to big an issue to come back from.

Can we stop with the building up jokes? Or do we really want to risk pissing off VY?

I actually think the mods should ban said posters. Every ITK shares willingly for our benefit. I've seen it several times over the last week or two. It's tasteless act
